Perfect
Very nice little product. So far, it has a long battery charge time and a very clear crisp sound. I took a guitar strap and put a zip tie in the two end holes to make a comfy shoulder strap. It has a very sturdy belt clip that fits perfectly on the stiff end piece of the strap and it sits right there close to my waist. If I'm walking and need to move it to my back, I just shift it around. It's a great set up that way. It's also very cool because it has an extra input for an MP3 or music on your cell phone and it can play at the same time you are using the mic. I plan to use some scary sounds during ghost walk tours. You can control the volume of the music with the cell phone volume controls to get the mix just right. I think you could even use a voice recording just fine for something like a tour, if you don't want to say the same thing over and over. I'm very happy with it and plan to buy several more so everyone on our tours will be able to save voices and be heard better when walking outside.

This little thing surprisingly gets the job done!
This little box gets the job done! I am a music teacher and have had some vocal issues (mostly fixed by vocal therapy) and this little thing has been a lifesaver this school year. It actually sounds pretty decent and a few of my classes didn't even know that I was using it. I worried it might sound tinny, but it really doesn't. I had a fancy $1000 Redcat Access system in my last school that cannot be beat but I got this to use until the next budget season rolls around as I was paying out of my own pocket.First, I knew I could not teach with a headset on so I ordered this clip-on mic - the Olympus Noise Cancelling Microphone - First of all, you need a mono plug - one stripe on the end or it will not work as I had ordered some other fancy thing that had two stripes and I learned my lesson there - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MYPPPE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 - this mic works REALLY well. The cord is kind of dangly and needs to be tucked in behind the box, but it gets the job done. I always wear a lanyard with my keys on it so the clip on mic hooks there just fine! Olympus ME-52W Noise Canceling MicrophoneThe waist belt is just marginally okay on this - it's not particularly flattering, but I would not trust the plastic clip on the back to stay clipped alone. (My clip on the speaker actually broke a month into using this speaker as it was clipped into the front pocket of my black dress pants and when I bent over to pick up a student's flute book the clip snapped inside my pocket. Doh! Luckily, I had the lap belt on so the speaker didn't fall and hit the floor.) The lap belt seems to loosen throughout the day and kind of flops around so I do miss having the clip to at least keep it from spinning around to my backside. If I had any creative fashion sense I would try to make my own belt that was kind of stretchy and a bit more flattering. There are loops on the back of the speaker that the current waist belt hooks into. Also - when I have to bend over I know that I need to turn the speaker box off as there is WICKED feedback when the Olympus mic gets close to the speaker. It silences a room of kids, for sure, but that's not quite my teaching approach. =) I am not sure how the mic that comes with it is with feedback.I LOVE that it is rechargeable. It seems to be taking longer to charge than when I first got it in September (It is now January), but I can usually plug it in right at 7:30 am and it is fully charged by 8:00, so that's acceptable. So, if you are looking for a pretty inexpensive option, I would honestly look into the Croove! It definitely has been worth the $ I paid for it so far.

Excelent helper for your classes
It has been almost three weeks since I bought my voice amplifier and I do not have any complains. It has a been a great help for my voice (I have a cyst in one of my vocal cords) and I am able to speak at my normal tone. In fact, all my 33 students in Art and also in the class of Body Expression (which is a room with no furniture) are able to hear me.The voice amplifier Croove looks modern, it is small and I fell comfortable using the headset microphone. I will always use it since there is no sense in forcing your voice while you work. BUY IT, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. The belt is comfortable as well.GOOD NEWS, Regarding the battery: when I received the voice amplifier it came already charged. Two days later I had to charged and it has been 7 days where I am using the voice amplifier and I had not needed to charge it.The best recommendation is to let the battery die and then charge it completely.

Serves the Purpose
I purchased this amplifier for my husband who recently suffered a stroke that left his vocal chords paralyzed. All he can do is whisper, and it's nearly impossible to hear him without amplification. This product did the job well, and he can now have conversations and be heard. Feedback is a problem...high, piercing squealing noise! Awful! If his arm or hand (or anything for that matter) comes too close to either the speaker or head phone, it screeches. The speaker was larger and a bit bulkier than I expected, but I have no experience with voice amplifiers, so perhaps this is the standard size to expect. I wish the headband was adjustable. It does not rest in the right spot on my husband's head, and we fiddle with it quite a bit as a result. I do like the flexibility of the arm supporting the microphone. The rechargeable batteries are ideal. I plug it in every night, so it's ready for him the next morning. I am considering purchase a different brand with these issues in mind hoping I might find one I like better. Overall, it's not bad, and not too expensive, but after dealing with the problems, I'd be willing to pay more to resolve the annoyances.

DONT BUY THIS! IT SMOKES WHEN TRYING TO CHARGE IT!
Seriously, I bought this and it worked fantastic! It took me a while to actually use the speaker so it’s out of warranty. (I didn’t bother contacting the seller because of it.) My voice was loud and clear coming through it. But I get around to charging it? Plugging it in like normal, thought everything was fine. SECONDS LATER, I smell burning, like electrical fire burning. I look at the speaker and notice the volume wheel has SMOKE pouring out of it. I ripped the power cable out of it and took it outside so it wouldn’t explode in my home. (Thankfully it didn’t explode) but I feared using it again. So I threw it out. My fault for not reading the reviews of a product. If you value your lungs and safety? DONT BUY THIS!
