works fine, for an inexpensive meter. I basically just needed it to take quick low voltage readings. I already have a nice digital meter for jobs that require more time and accuracy.

Will not handle 500 volts! Mine 'blew up' on 480 volts AC !! Should be recalled. When mine blew, it caused a circuit breaker to activate which killed power in one of the Operating Rooms where a surgery was in progress....not a good day.

There were many to choose from in this category but I came over to Amazon and read reviews and decided on this one for my husband who was replacing a broken one. Delivery fast. Product is good quality and price was very competitive with others.
