Banana Stand

I bought one of these to gift to my mother for Christmas, and even several months later she's still using it religiously. It's a little flimsy when it comes to hanging a large bunch of bananas (the maximum seemed to be around five or six) but it's decently sized and works great even with other fruit.

This is very pretty on my kitchen counter with it without banana on top. Gives a minimalist look and does not occupy too much space on the counter. Probably not for people who wants to keep lots of fruits on display, but I only have 1 or 2 small apples, 1 orange or tiny branch of grapes and works for me. Love this thing. Thank you.

I love the simple design, but the base is too thin and lightweight, so it tips over easily.

I have several Yamazaki products and overall have enjoyed them. However this item is NOT sturdy enough to hang more than a few bananas at a time, and the plate is not large enough to hold a bunch either. The weight of a normal bunch of bananas was always too much for the holder to handle, but it still looked nice to store a few at a time. Then it started to break down after a couple of months, and eventually the wood piece broke off completely from the base. If it was weighted more and sturdier to handle a normal bunch, I would buy another to replace since it’s too late to return, but I know it won’t hold up based on the performance of this one.

This is a beautiful stand, simple and functional. However, the manufacturer product support is non existent. I've been using this stand for about 3 months before the wood cracked near the base. I contact Yamazaki directly, who advised they don't support purchases made outside their webstore. They advised me to contact amazon for my product issue. Really quite strange that a manufacturer won't guarantee their products outside their webstore. Luckily, amazon was very helpful with my damaged stand. I would give this brand a second thought as it would be difficult if you ever have product issues.

Not too big and holds the bananas just fine.

Love the way it looks in my kitchen and it works well. Uniquely you slip the banana bunch on sideways to hold them up.

We got this after our old bamboo hanger finally broke. This one is awesome. Sturdy and simple, the little dish at the bottom is handy cause it catches all the black bits that fall off the banana bunch. Really happy with it and people have commented on how nice and cool it is.
