Received and Binned
You see a paddle type liquorice on the front of the box and you think they are the nice hard chewy paddles from our child hood, how wrong that decision was, these are like eating a hard piece of coal, very brittle, not chewy and nothing like liquorice. AVOID unless you have purchased these before. Mine went straight in the bin after tasting a 1cm piece, total rubbish and far too expensive.

This is a boiled sweet
Wanted hard chewing liquorice. Got a bitter, crunchy stick just like a boiled sweet. Horrid. Would return if I could but had to open one to discover it wasn't what I thought.

These are really hard, but full of taste
I had expected something a bit softer, but these are really hard, and that is not a bad thing. You can bite bits of them, and the bits will last for a long time.I'm mostly in to salty liquorice, but these are rather strong in the pure taste, and I will order them again.

Garbage would taste better
I had to put them in the bin, as they are so awful. What a complete waste of money. Absolute garbage, that exactly were they belong,in the bloody garbage.

These are hard. Taste more of molasses than liquorice. Not to my taste.
