Bob Smith 103 Insta-Cure 2oz Super Thin

I once read a review here that mentioned "if you never used this before, you WILL get it all over you". I laughed. I bought this for the first time. I started to use it, and got it ALL over me. So let me say this: If you are not used to this product, you WILL get it all over your hands! Go ahead, laugh! You won't be laughing when your hand is very wet and hot for a moment, and then dried with CA glue all over the place. This glue is like water. It runs like water. It stinks like nothing else, and will make your nose burn and eyes tear. USE VENTILATION. Very little goes a long way. I use it to soak into cardboard and sneak into small gaps in paper craft, and it works great! I strongly suggest getting small nozzles to stick on here so you can petty much use capillary action going here, but be warned: I did find some of the small bottles for glues I bought on here ended up eventually melting and softening. The glue never seemed to leak, but it did end up solidifying inside a melted bottle, so if you go that route, do small amounts at a time so you don't waste a bunch of glue. Happy crafting! And.... think of getting the glue all over yourself as an initiation to some serious CA glues!

I have been making props from eva foam, shoe rubber, PVC, etc. since 2013 and this is an EXCELLENT adhesive for eva foam works on almost everything, I tried wood+foam, wire+foam, foam+foam, pvc+foam, foam+fabric, fabric+jewels, for fabric don't expect the fabric to be in perfect condition, the fabric will stiffen and looks wet and I think that's normal it's gonna look like water stain that hardens on the fabric. ADVICE BEFORE BUYING: make sure you read what it says on the label, this one is "super thin 1-3second" it means this is like water and it dries within 1-3 seconds, there's a purple one that says "gap-filling 5-15sec" that one is kinda gooey medium consistency like a thicken water or a sauce, and there's other more so make sure you pick the one you are most comfortable using, I like this thin one since I have used Greco 888 before and I'm used to this kind of consistency. THIS WILL STICK TO YOUR SKIN and it will hurt to remove it, I wear "NITRILE GLOVES" not just any gloves a nitrile gloves okay? and it works amazing it doesn't go through my gloves but don't use your gloves to press the materials together the gloves will stick to it too if the glove got some adhesive on it, this is just for protection, I mainly used this to wipe the adhesive droplets on the materials and protect my skin, also wear a respirator mask, and used it in a well-ventilated area (not in your room) since this is toxic it is bad for your lungs. This one is a winner! Bob Smith Insta-Cure works well on a wide range of materials. For years, I have successfully used instant CA glues (cyanoacrylate adhesives) along with accelerators for hobbies and household projects. None have worked better than Bob Smith CA products -- and Insta-Cure is my #1 favorite. Insta-Cure is affordably priced, has a thin viscosity, the bottle and applicator tip are easy to use, it has little odor, and it quickly bonds a wide range of common materials (even some foams). Will last for years if kept upright in the freezer in a heavy zip bag. Check it out for yourself. I'd bet it will put a smile on your face too.

Thin as can be, works great, but what's with this cap design? It's ridiculously easy for it to get stuck and then you have to mangle it to get it off.

This stuff is fantastic !! I have a prized coffee mug I purchased in Europe and have used it every single day for 15 years. I always swore that if it ever broke, I would have to return to Europe to get a replacement; that's how special it is to me. Well, it slowly developed a tiny hairline crack from top to bottom. It wasn't "broken", but coffee would slowly leak out of the crack and make a mess. I decided to wait until I got a brand new container of super glue, so there would be enough to fix it (those super glues available at stores only contain a fraction of an ounce.) But then someone told me about Bob Smith glue. I read the reviews and it all sounded good but I wasn't sure which kind I should order. I finally decided on the "thin" stuff. It was delivered in 2 days. I put on my rubber gloves, snipped the tip and let the thin glue run from the top rim of the mug to the bottom (on the outside of the mug). It found its way all down the hairline crack, and it only took a drop or two. I held onto the mug for less than a minute and then felt it. The glue was already dry !! After waiting an hour or so, I filled it with hot water and placed it on a paper towel as a test. NOT ONE DROP OF A LEAK !!! And you can hardly see the repair ... it is near invisible. I am so happy to have my favorite mug back. And the price sure beats the cost of flying round trip to Europe !! :-)
