These work on the 2025 model year which is what I have. Works as it should. These things have been around for a while. It’s essentially just a capacitor that acts as a button push, which is why it takes a couple of seconds to work after starting your car.Don’t rip your whole center console and dash apart. Take the included spudger and pry the climate control out. Then look above where the switch is, there is a little cutout where you can insert the spudger and push the switch needed out. Unplug, then install the bypass device. When you reassemble the bypass device is a tight fight, but pushing it in with some force will work without breaking anything. Test first before putting back together.Don’t be afraid to be aggressive when prying the climate control out (or any automotive panels for that matter). You do more harm when trying to be careful than using a quick motion with force. The plastic clips will be fine.Cheap and simple solution for a “feature” nobody asked for.

Fairly easy to install after watching videos online. Works perfectly. Don't have to push the disable button every time you start the engine.

I installed according to the instructional video and it failed to make the default to off. This is a circuit so easy an orangutan could have built it and yet this sad little piece of junk is not functional.

It worked right off and I love it. My car has 1100 miles on it and it was a little nerve wracking taking out the AC control module but that went well and just like the video. The only issue I had was the factory wire on the "start stop" switch was short or very tight. I was holding onto the switch by the movable push button part and it came off in my hand breaking one of the four tabs. So don't hold the switch there. I had to work close to the hold in the panel but all went well. The new "module" was tight going through the hole as the video's warn but it does push though. The button I broke still works with three pivots so no harm no foul there. But this is a great device and well worth the money if you hate that start stop feature as much as I did. Buy it!Aditional review: After driving with this for a month and it's worked flawlessly it just makes me smile to see the little "off" indicator on the instrument panel. This is the way the car should have been built from the factory. I of course leave it off and it works every time and makes driving the car such a pleasure now. I even forget what it was like to have it "stall" at stoplights. I just love these new feature now!!

I have a 2023 Rav4 XLE. The one thing I really dislike about this vehicle is the engine auto start/stop function. If I wanted that I would have bought a hybrid. Anyway, this device causes the auto start/stop function to come up as disabled when the vehicle is started. Now I don't have to remember to turn it off every time I start the engine. Been driving with it installed for several days and it has worked every time. Installation was very easy and it comes with a plastic spudger tool to pry off the climate control panel and pop out the on/off switch. You can still use the auto start/stop function by pressing the switch to turn it on, but why would anyone who purchased this item want to do that? So far, so good. Am giving a 5 star review.

Have used for a couple of months with no issues on my 2023 RAV4, I think it has failed to work once in all that time and I'm guessing it was something I did that caused it not to activate. Easy to install just need to remove the air control panel and then pop the button out from the back, no need to disassemble the entire center console, putting the module though the button hole was a bit tight but it is doable. It was installed in less than 3 minutes and that was me being careful I did not break the air control panel when popping it out. This has solved the one major issue I had with the RAV4 and I could not be happier.
