A beautiful Bible that’s compact and packed with extra features that I find extremely helpful for tracing Israel’s places and people in real–time studying.Look and feel ― First off, love the silver lining of the pages. Compared to my NLT, it feels more like a cozy novella to hold than a formal semi–textbook [the feel of the NLT when considering size alone]. I love both and appreciate both translations and design.Format and design ― I love the teal, and contrary to the color in the photos, you’ll find the teal to be much warmer [closer to neon coastal oceanic green than the baby blue depicted]. the silver letters outside on the cover is refreshing and beautiful to look at. For this specific NASB, I appreciate the size of the cross references and how they’re organized. They don’t interrupt with the reading flow, i.e., they aren’t too big or ‘in your face’, and their pointers are formulated to be subtle and discrete within the text that are clear enough to let you know where to find them. The font size of 11.25 is accurate; they’re legible and easy on the eyes; suitable for long studying hours. Words of the Lord is in maroon red.Print and paper quality ― The faux leather cover is soft to the touch and comfortable to hold. Unlike with my NLT Bible from Tyndale, this leather–soft material isn’t as prone to fingerprint, which is a plus. Words are clear and easy to read. Pages are thin and most of them stick together when they first arrive so be gentle with those flips when you’re using the book for the first time.Some more tips: For those interested in getting bible tabs for this, be sure to flip those pages to ensure you aren’t sticking the tab for 2 pages at once because they’re super thin and some are sticking together.Overall, loving this Bible thus far from Holman.

This review is for the New American Standard version Bible. It is constructed well with a nice teal-colored “leather-like” cover. I saw an earlier review where someone said the paper was thin. It is thin, but it seems durable. Because this is a smaller sized Bible, I’ve since ordered a set of mini Bible index tabs. I believe they will help find the sections I’m looking for and the tabs will likely save wear & tear of pages. I would say this is an important book. Take care of the pages and the book will help take care of you. This is also a large print version and that makes reading much easier. Given the modest cost of this Bible, this was a really great deal.

I'm very pleased with this Bible. It's not real large print but it's big enough for me to read easily.I like that some books have the verse number to the left of the verse, and not somewhere in themiddle where you have to hunt for it. I wish all the books had that feature. It's nice-looking too.

I LOVE my new bible! I own a hard cover KJV/AMP parallel bible, so this NASB is a welcomed version to my bible collection. It is a beautiful color, the font is significantly larger than my other bible, and it's light weight.I like that it has chapter titles, the maps are nice, and I really like the topical index in the back. The pages are thin, but it's the same with any other bible I've ever owned.

This is the exact bible my 10-year-old daughter was needing for her Sunday school class. This is the version (NASB) that is used by her teacher, and we wanted to find her a girly bible for her to have for years to come. The item came quickly and arrived exactly as advertised. The color is beautiful, and the words are larger for ease of reading. It has a ribbon marker, which my daughter loves using to mark the page she is on when she stops reading for the day. Would definitely recommend purchasing.

This Bible is easy to read while staying very close to the KJV version. I read the whole Bible this year. I found the reading to go a lot faster and much better understood than reading KJV.

In the pictures I am comparing another amazon bible that is King James Version (pink). I did my research and NASB is closest KJV but readable with simple English. Closest translation to original three languages. I will say the pink one has a better aesthetic but I only recommend LJV if you understand that language/format. Otherwise I recommend a NASB version. This real one is a bit darker and not so bright in color. It’s silver edges with no tabs like the pink. They’re both the same page wuality(super thin and stuck sometimes). They both have references and the font size varies. 11.25 isn’t bad for this book and the size is more portable. There is both Samuel pages to compare the language differences. So far the teal one has been functional and easier to understand and take notes on. Read and compare them to find what works best for you. I’ll update if anything changes

Love this version of the bible! Fonts are large and easy to read. My 11 year old niece loved mine so much, she wanted one for herself. And the blue is her favourite colour, so she loves it too❤️

Love the way it is, for a large reference bible it's compact and you can carry it anywhere. loved the fonts and its size. Easily readable. NASB is the best translation if you want greek, aramaic, hebrew meaning inbuilt in your Bible. The original texts retained as much as possible. There are colored maps, topical index, presentation page, Christ's wordings in red. The guilding is silver and it's really flexible when bended, Lay flat even on your hands. I highly recommend this beautiful bible. Must buy!!❤️✝️

We bought for our daughter’s birthday as she wanted a Bible. This one is so easy to flip through. It’s the perfect size for carrying to church, using for family devotions, etc. I am tempted to buy myself one. 🙂

I really love this Bible. The font is printed so as to almost look like it’s a bold font. This is what i wanted, what I needed. I enjoy the version as well. A solid translation. Easy to understand. Inspiring.
