32 Pack- Brass Misting Nozzles For Outdoor Cooling System, 0.012” Orifice (0.3 mm) 10/24 UNC

I bought several packs of these and ended up using about 40 for my project. Out of those 40, only 1 head was faulty. Not too bad. I did an approximate 100 foot do-it-yourself PVC system. I used ½ PVC, incorporated valves, drain plugs, etc. As far as these spray heads are concerned, they worked perfectly. Very fine mist. I basically used the methodology I found on a youtube video, but turned it into a 100 foot system with all kinds of turns (search youtube for #3 Project 15/15 (Water Misting Tubes)). For these heads, use a 5/32 bit to drill your holes and then screw the heads in afterwards. The threads on the heads will create their own threading into the PVC and snug up great.. As for subsequently screwing in the heads in afterwards, it can be quite a pain to do by hand or even with pliers. But then I finally realized you can use your cordless drill and just wedge the head into the drill just like you would a drill bit. After realizing this, it was a breeze getting the spray heads into the PVC pipe. Btw, I tested my water pressure from the hose using a measureman water pressure test gauge (amazon) and my PSI is 70. I also used an Orbit 10109W mist calcium inhibitor filter (amazon) at the front of my system. All of the PVC and associated PVC adapters I got from home improvement stores. I got the brackets to hang all the PVC from the dollar tree. The brackets were actually fantastic as every other option I looked into was not going to work as well and be far more expensive. These come in a 5-pack for a $1, so cheapest part of the whole system. So for anyone interested, a 100-ft system, with lots of turns, using 1/2 “ PVC, with 70 PSI water pressure, and using about 40 of these heads with the drill hole and subsequent screw in method directly into the PVC, these work perfectly! In fact, I don’t even need to turn my water all the way up for maximum effectiveness. You could probably have lower PSI and have this work fine as well. Or use less heads or less overall distance if not. I’m very happy with this purchase, and I’m going to build a few custom PVC misting stands using these heads as a summer gift for family members.

Absolutely outstanding! I will recycle the old ones, and just use new. They are useless when plugged by debris or hard water, and these work beautifully!

I suspect the people giving 1 or 2 stars don’t know what they are doing. I installed these in 1/2” pvc to replace the mister hoses I had to replace every couple of years. I put about 20 in and they all worked fine. Two tips, put a threaded end cap etc on the end and flush the pipe after you drill all the holes to flush out the plastic. These are fine misters so sand grit etc will clog them. If you have sediment like almost everyone does put a filter on it. You still might have to replace a few ever year or two.

These nozzles perform well. Buying in the 32 pack makes them affordable. We live in Las Vegas where the water is VERY had with way too much calcium. Misting Nozzles get clogged rapidly. We have a large 20'X20'X10 foot outdoor aviary. The temperatures we have been experiencing here have become hellish. In our aviary we have rescue birds, tortoises, and bunnies. We use misters to mitigate the summer heat. We also have a large chicken coup consisting of an enclosure and a large outdoor run. We have mist system there as well. It keeps our 12 chickens cool. This is the second 32 pack we have purchased this summer. Why we like them. As good a quality as any we have bought over the years. The price is affordable buying 32 at a time.

I bought this standalone s-shaped mister for a friend of mine who uses it next to her bird bath so that there's always a fresh little mist of water going into the bird bath to keep her birds happy. It's really nice looking out there and seeing the birds flopping around in the water and spraying through the gentle mist. Sometimes she will go out there to adjust the mist and the nozzle pops off. Of course they are so small you'll never find them in the yard so, I bought these for her and she really likes them they fit the device perfectly and it makes the birds happy
