Just swapped your wage packet for a new Nikon camera? Good decision. Where some people respond to the smile of a new-born infant or the aroma of lavender, you have your priorities straight. For you, it is a nicely weighted casing, great CCD, a lightning-fast chip and a good-looking form factor. The same feelings apply, of course, to your drone or hoverboard. We get it. These things are cool.. But what about scratches? How will you preserve all that mirrored beauty and perfection of form? Ah, you bought a screen protector? Maybe you spent a couple of bucks. But you soon realised you might as well have used plastic wrap. Your screen has more bubbles than a foam machine at a kids birthday party. Luckily, you have got Expert Shield. Money cannot buy a better screen protector. They are guaranteed for life. What makes Expert Shield screen protectors so darn good? Well, you know those triple-choc brownies you love? Well, we adopt a similar layered approach. The first layer is our proprietary Expert Shield Gel solution that grips your screen like a magnet (without actually being one). We then add an ultra-hard mask to keep off deeper scratches. Finally, the top layer is a durable plastic that keeps your camera screen as shiny and bright. And the amazing thing - all three layers are super-thin and super accurate for touch sensitive screens. Customer service? Your screen protector is precision-cut according to make and model. It will last longer than any other. There is no glue or residue. And under your lifetime guarantee, we will replace it if you have any problems with our quality or fit. Note: This is the original Crystal Clear Shield with our Expert Shield Gel solution which guarantees a bubble free installation - read the reviews to understand why we are different. All shields are not equal.

Welcome View Screen Accessory
I really like my D7100. But, unlike my D70s and D90, my new camera didn't have a protective cover over the view screen and I have been constantly wary of scratching it. There were a couple of considerations: 1) The glass on the D7100's is possibly tougher than earlier cameras, but it's not sapphire. 2) Although it would not impair the photography, it would bother the heck out of me were the screen to become scratched. 3) It is expensive, but at 1% of the cost of the camera, I think it is within reason.Contrary to a review I read, application was very easy. Maybe that's because I read and then followed the instructions. Additionally, I wore latex gloves to lessen the possibility of dust and avoid any possibility of fingerprints. The fit is excellent and except for a tiny half bubble on the very edge, the shield is invisible. When lighted, it is completely transparent. I don't know if this shield was necessary, likely it was not, but I feel much less anxious about damaging the screen. If you don't care if your view screen is scuffed, or may even think that such wear is professional looking, don't purchase this. If, however, you are an amatuer like me, whose camera is a significant investment and serves as a pleasurable hobby, but seldom contributes income, and you want to keep your camera reasonably pristine, you might consider this shield, which at a minimum provides piece of mind. Finally, the company contacted me to thank me for the purchase and inquire as to my thoughts about it. That was an unexpected and appreciated touch in this sell and run age. Again, provides piece of mind and very easy to apply. I recommend this shield. If it wears well, it is a first rate purchase.

10-Star Customer Support
Unbelievably great customer service that will make Jeff Bezos very proud. I had trouble installing this, my fault. I asked Expert Shield for a second chance so they sent me a free replacement. Long story, I received it but lost it. I told Expert Shield that I would be happy to pay for the replacement of the replacement, but they're sending out another one for free and told me to keep the lost/misplaced shield if it turns up. I used all the typical precautions for the first shield, including a steamy room, but still managed to trap a few small specks of dust and messed up the shield trying to remove them.

A company who stands by their products.
Did not like this. Too small for my d7200; the gap around all sides is just too large. Distracting.Edit (Aug 2015): After placing the above review on Amazon, a representative from Expert Shield got in contact with me. They shipped me another screen protector, which I have since installed. It went on without much trouble (I had two specks of dust, but managed to lift the protector and get one of them out). This time I centered the protector on the screen, instead of aligning with a corner. It looks much better than my previous install. It's possible my other one was cut incorrectly, or just by aligning to a corner made it look improperly sized. I still think it could be a tad bigger; I have about 1mm gap on the edges. I was told that it was designed this way. Most screen protectors I've installed have had much smaller margins. I'll keep it installed, as it's not too distracting as is (if installed crooked or off center, then it does look distracting). Thanks, Expert Shield, for standing by your product. On a side note, the screen of the d7200 definitely needs some sort of protection. In the two months I've used it without protection, it has accumulated a few micro-scratches.

The company emailed me and asked if I was happy with the purchase
The first set of shields I had for my Nikon D7200 had scuffs going across them . I was not impressed . The company emailed me and asked if I was happy with the purchase , so I told them about my experience . The company sent me a replacement without question and the replacement was fine . Do I need a shield for my camera screens ? Probably not . The glass used is very hard and seldom gets bumped . Does the film shield help with viewing in bright light ? It does seem to tale an edge off the glare in bright sun , but it has been on so long now , I don't have a comparison . In short , if you feel the need for shielding as a peace of mine , then this company is great to deal with and I would do so again .

No aggravation!
This screen protector replaced a glass screen protector of similar price that I was very dissatisfied with because one corner failed to adhere. I believe that because it was glass it was very rigid and the corner in question overlapped a trifle. It was an eyesore to me and I decided to purchase the Expert Shield. Naturally I was a little apprehensive because I had just thrown out $13 previously, but I was confident because of the generous warranty. As it turned out, I had no difficulty even though it is not 100% centered and the far right side is off by a fraction (1/64" but who cares? Better this way than overlapping.) I used a small flashlight to be certain that there was no dust on the screen before installing the protector, and there are virtually no bubbles, so I am very satisfied! I think that glass would theoretically protect better but it would be academic. Thank you!

Great Product (My Second Purchase)
I've used these shields twice now; once on my Fujifilm X100s, and now on my Nikon D7100. In both cases installation was a breeze, absolutely no bubbles. On the X100s, I missed precise alignment a little bit the first time, but it came off easily for repositioning. For some cameras there are hard plastic screen protectors available (though not for either of my current cameras, though I did use one on my D700, and it scratched easily). I actually prefer this thin "film" variety because they are so unobtrusive; in fact, you can't even tell it's there. And they seem to be tough as nails, but still perfectly clear, as if they were made of high quality glass....I do think these are a little pricey, BUT, they are inexpensive, excellent protection for your cameras' view screens. This one for the D7100 fit perfectly!!!I give these guys five stars all day long.

Handy item, not glass as described
This is an easy to apply material which is very handy to have. However, what this is not, is tempered glass as described in the ad. I applied it wrong the first time on the top screen and used the tip of a flathead screw driver to lift it up and it ended up scratching the hell out of it. If you are looking for glass, this is not glass it is plastic at best. Other than that it is fine.

OK pour Nikon D7200
Sans doute un bon produit mais malgré que sa manipulation soit aisée , il vaut mieux s'assurer d'un placement parfait dès le premier essai.
