Well Made
These are a match and exactly what was original to my shelves that were custom built over 24 years ago. These are heavy duty and strong. They fit into the slot strips of my bookshelves. Brass. Well made. If you have a bit of trouble inserting into the slot, realign your angle of approach or use plyers to squish the clip a tad. Sometimes, you have to choose a slightly higher or lower slot. My slots were not all exactly the same.

They work
These worked on a random shelf from 2001. They are a little stiff and hard to use at first, but once they are in place they are easy to remove and reinsert.

They are just a bit stiff; however, that is important for a good, snug fit.
Exactly what is needed for an older, solid wood bookcase with interior, horizontally slotted rails.

Great buy
I used the photo search feature on Amazon to find these replacements for a shelf in my classroom. A shelf was missing one of these little brackets, so it wasn’t stable. I just took a picture of one of the brackets with the number code visible, and this listing came up. They fit perfectly, and now I have extras in case any more go missing. I’m so happy that my shelf is now usable!
