The Single Edge SE - Classic Matte

Absolutely no idea how this works.Messaged 40754 as per instructions but mess non delivered. The instructions are useless. They not say it come with a blade in or not. No mention whether to loosen the screw or take out. £65 ? What a rip off. Can’t wait to send it back & go back to Gillette Mach 3. Btw, tried to find it again to comment but couldn’t find it. My opinion is that this is one big rip off or more likely a scam.

I've had this for a couple of weeks now. It is without doubt the worst shave I have ever had. Cost a pretty penny and I couldn't be more disappointed. Horrendous rash, poor quality shave regardless of how I angled the head. Would get a refund if I thought I could. It is terrible.

I'm an experience traditional shaver (brush/soap/cream/razor/blade) who hasn't used a cartridge razor in years and never will again. This razor is marketed more to cartridge users who are tempted to switch to a single edge razor. It's an excellent razor. It's very mild (it can be made more efficient by buying a different plate from Supply) and easy to use. I confess that the razor as it arrived was too mild for me. I just didn't get a great shave. I did order a more aggressive plate from Supply and it made a big difference. For those who are on the fence, debating whether or not to switch to a single edge, I would encourage them to try this razor. I doubt you'll ever switch back to cartridges. This offers a very good shave. It should hold up forever. And once you get used to the proper angle, maybe change to another brand of blade and replace the stock plate, you can and will get excellent shaves. (EDITED)

Shaving bumps gone, almost zero ingrown hairs. It’s a great shave especially if you have longer stubble, the razor does not get clogged.

Very satisfying

One of the worst razors I’ve ever used so heavy and it doesn’t. It doesn’t shave correctly. I wish I could return it. It was terrible I used it once I was past my return date cause I didn’t use it. I was trying to use my other razors that I had. I should’ve used it right away cause that razor is terrible.

I really wanted to like it, every time I go on Instagram it's on my page, but it's simply not up to par. It takes forever to shave and you have to lather multiple times to get all the hair, even after one day's growth. I will try the pro for a closer and more customized shave, but the SE is a dud. Because you have to shave multiple times there is a lot of razer burn. Edit: I got the pro version and that's a 5/5, I set it to level 4 and it works like butter. The SE is like a level 1 for the pro, so for my face and hair type it simply didn't work well. If this doesn't work give the pro a try, I don't think the sell it on Amazon, I got it direct from Supply. Its the same quality, handle is similar as well, but the heads are different.
