Much cheaper to buy here than go thru Culligan.

The items arrived timely and in good condition. They were as described. I am pleased.

These things harden up over time so you have to buy them and use them.. Avoid older new stock if you can and try not to keep too many as long term spares.. I change them once a year as a maintenance scheduled wear part because it is 5 minute easy just like the pump straws.. Do this to prevent backflows and spills or take your chances and maybe have a mess to clean up..

Great valuse when you buy them in bulk but they will dry out over a few years so when you go to use the 3rd or 4th one there usually no good and will leak. I'm trying a food grade silicone paste to coat my spares to see if it will perserve them.. I tried the black version of these and they were worse. Barely got a yr out of one, didn't even bother using the spare I had and there used on a well, no chlorine.

The first shipment of 5 duckbills included 4 that were visibly open and that leaked, making them useless in a check valve. But I returned them and received a new shipment that were all OK.

Thanks for providing these on Amazon at a reasonable price, so many of the special water treatment products are over priced and hard to find!
