Dear customer, each panel comes with 10 C-rings and a 2.5m cotton rope. You can hang curtain with them.

Q: How does this work with the ladder? Our bunk bed has the ladder on the long side. How does the curtain work so that the ladder is still usable?

Dear Customer, there are 2 ways to hang the curtains for bunk bed bottom with ladder. A) Hang curtains as it in picture. Let the curtain cover ladder, slide the curtain to let it un-cover the ladder when going up/down the top bunk. B) Let the hanging rope go behind the ladder, and hang the curtain behind the ladder. After finishing installment, use two small ties ( please prepare by yourself) to tie rope to bed frame at head and end points of ladder.

Q: where can I find the metal rod used to hang the curtain pictured in the product images??

Dear Customer, actually I advise you buy PVC pipe to hang the curtains. Compare with metal rod, PVC pipe is lightweight and costs less. You can search PVC pipe on Amazon, or go to hardware store to buy it.
