I got this lawn edging for my parents. Their old plastic edging had started to disintegrate so they wanted to replace it. I warned them that some reviews had said that it was difficult to install but they went ahead as they liked the look of it. The edging arrived in good condition and my parents said that it was fairly straightforward and easy to install and they had no issues with it. They are both in their mid 70's and not in the best of health so couldn't understand why people had said that it was difficult to use. They said that it looks great once in place and asked me to recommend it for them. My dad said that it's easier if you peg it down as you unroll it and don't try to unroll the whole thing then peg it down.

Good for curved edges but not for straight. Very hard to make it straight. The plastic nail is a bit fragile. Overall is good enough for my project

This looks really effective! We’ve got it to separate lawn from pebble area. Will make it easy strimming the lawn up against this border when it starts to grow. Was very easy to put up. The plastic pegs are quite long and I was wondering if they’d go all the way in, (if the ground is too hard I’d imagine you might have a problem knocking these plastic pegs into the ground). But the ground was ok when i completed the job. They did quite easily knock all the way in with my rubber mallet. Leaving the border very firmly in place, and looking very tidy indeed.

Done wonders for creating a garden boarder

Not that easy to run in a straight line. Wanted this to fit around our front border between flower bed and lawn. A very rigid and unyielding plastic as it is supplied rolled and is reluctant to unroll when being fitted! Ditched the plastic pegs and sourced some steel ones. Probably ok on a wavy or curved bed. Ours was straight with a 90 degree corner. Can’t really recommend and we have since replaced this with a wooded version instead.

Would be even better if metal pegs were used instead of plastic. In hard ground the heads snapped off

Putting this in on my own was a bit of a struggle as it has obviously been coiled up for a long time and could have done with a few more spikes to put in, but now it is in place, it really does the job and despite being hit a few times by the strimmer, it is still solid and no damage. Pleased with it and would recommend.

Easy to use but hard to cut to size, need proper tools for this
