Can this be used with a salt water system?

I use it with my salt water spa, never had any issues.

If it's in stock and listed as a prime item why does shipping take a week???

Do i have to remove the filter before adding? And is it bromine safe ?

Yes it is bromine safe and you do not have to remove the filters but do not overdose as it can cloud the hot tub

Is this a product able to do a lasting job or one that has to be applied before each time spa is used

Does not need each time. How often you add will be determined on how often and how many are using your hot tub. Works immediately though.
