Delivered on schedule and works as promised. Just make sure you calibrate it at least daily while in use. Great little tool, faster and easier to read than a hydrometer.

Its not the highest quality meter I've seen but it works well and is easy to use. For the cost it's a great buy. I would buy again.

This is just a 0-32% Brix Refractometer but without the full range. The scale is too small it's not like in the picture. It covers only half of the area

Great product

I bought this to measure the brix of maple sap. This takes a very accurate measuring tool. This worked but it is very difficult to read the exact numbers. The lines in the view are very close together and hard to decipher. If you need a cheap, versatile tool where it doesn't need to be exact. This should work. The price is good.

Easy to use. Accurate for initial sap sugar contents. It helps with estimating how many gallons of sap per gallon of syrup. Look up rule of 86.

I purchased this to measure the sugar content in my sap. I have a small operation with 120 to 240 trees tapped on buckets. I feel this refractometer is another tool in the toolbox which gives me a better idea of the content of my sap. Ok. Out of the box it looks good. The case includes 2 droppers to extract sap from your pail/bucket and put drops on the plate of the unit. It is easy to use and the brix scale is easy to read. It also includes a small screwdriver to calibrate the unit (required initially to set your scale to zero.) I am impressed with the quality for the price I paid. Keep in mind that this is not for testing maple syrup or juices. The unit measures 0 to 10 brix. Sap is generally at 2 to 4 out of your maple trees.
