After Browning Lotion - 4oz

First of all, let me start of saying I never write reviews, so I hope that tells you something. I bought this lotion while my husband and I were in Hawai'i on our honeymoon. I have freckles with semi-fair skin, so I tend to burn - then tan. The Maui Babe lotion is truly amazing! It smells wonderful and goes on light. We had a Jeep while visiting Hawai'i for 10 days, so I ended up with a slight case of sun poisoning on my chest. I applied the Maui Babe and Aloe for 2 days, and the sun poisoning was gone. I didn't peal AT ALL!! In addition, I literally kept my tan for at least three weeks after returning from Hawai'i. One of the more interesting things; I have noticed a difference in my skin. I have never been much of a makeup person, as I like the natural look. Mascara is it. I am 35, so age is slowly creeping up. I started using Vitamin C serum a year ago, but didn't notice much of a difference. After two weeks of using the Maui Babe; my face had a glow and looks so healthy. My fine lines seem to be less and my skin looks more alive. The lotion doesn't irritate my skin one bit, nor did it cause me to have any sort of pimples; however, I am blessed to have never had an issue in that department. I don't know if it will do the same for you that it has done for me, but I feel that the natural ingredients in this secret lotion are magic. Sometimes it's the simplest things that do the trick. I have everyone in my family using it. I highly recommend it!!

The first bottle I received had leaked all over the inside of the package but I sent that back and got a replacement. I love this lotion. I actually first purchased it while I was in Maui 10 years ago. I love the scent of it and it really moisturizes my skin after sunning.

I’m a tanning girl and I love an after sun lotion. This is sooo much better than what I used to use (sun bum after sun lotion). I use the browning tan lotion from the same brand too. It soaks in really well, easy to spread, and feels so moisturizing. I’m not entirely sure how well it keeps tan yet but I have high hopes just by the way it feels the few times I’ve used it and I have fair skin. Also smells good! I recommend trying at least once.

The only thing wrong I had was that the smell was kind of earthy. Other than that it did its job. I have trouble keeping the tan but this product has helped so far. I was recommended this product through a social media group and I am glad I took the chance on this product. I little goes a long way.

This is hands down the best after-sun lotion, especially if you get sunburned. It soothes, heals, and keeps your skin from peeling when applied regularly. If you put it on generously, it adds so much moisture that your burn can heal within a day or so. It truly feels healing, not just cooling. This is the only after-sun lotion I use now, and it always brings my skin back to life after a day in the sun.

It's a cooling feeling when used after tanning. And helps your tan last longer, using it everyday after a tan keeps your skin looking smooth and fresh. I highly recommend.

I absolutely love this lotion. If you want to keep your tan longer, and avoid immediate or even soon after peeling, this really works. To sum, it moisturized, prevented peeling and maintained my tan throughout the spring into the summer. The long story-- I began using this product at the end of spring, right after I returned from a Bahamaian vacation in the early spring. I naturally have a year round tan, but in the sun, I become browner and love to maintain that summer bronze glow that happens when I frolic on the beach for days. I knew it was going to be awhile before I could regularly go to the beach so I saw this product and decided to try. I used to not peel, but once I hit my 30s I began to peel regularly, after tanning. Once I started using this, I did not peel AT ALL. And, my tan did not fade. Yes, I still went to the beach with a base tan (which helps when tanning), but I am sure it would've faded quicker without this product. I also didn't start peeling until I ran out of this product. I use it everyday after getting out of the shower, all over my body. I have sensitive skin, and it didn't seem to bother it at all, and it has a light pleasant smell (not strong coconut-y). I highly recommend! Oh, because it's so light, it may not seem to be absorbing properly, but no worries-- it does, without clogging!

Mediocre. Texture is okay, a little bit oily. The smell is great but it did not hold my tan whatsoever. My skin is eczema prone and this dried me out. Will not repurchase, a bit expensive for what you get.

I rave about Maui Babe products, and this one is no different. I love having this After Sun product to complement the browning lotion. It has a very strong flowery smell, but once the product has absorbed into your skin it dissipates. One of the things I rave about regarding Maui Babe is the natural ingredients. If you like using natural products and taking care of your skin, this is a great product to have on hand!
