HTH 52035 Swimming Pool Care Shock Advanced, Swimming Pool Chemical, Cal Hypo Formula, 1lb

Used this item to keep my pool water clear for about 1.5 weeks until I buy the yearly chemicals to open my pool. Had one left over from last year so I needed one more to limp me along. Works good clears the pool right up and into the second week I dump another one in there because it works.

The HTH shock works so much better than others I have used. It dissolves so much faster its amazing. It keeps my pool crystal clear all season long and just 1 bag a week for upkeep. I have tried many others and they either take forever to dissolve or it seems like i need to use more often. I strongly suggest using HTH for your pool needs its so easy to use.

I was so bummed out—I could not get the water in my pool clear. It was clean—but cloudy. I dosed it with this stuff. The first dose didn’t really help. So 24 hours later, I repeated the treatment. Viola! Crystal clear water. I’m so happy. And it’s going to be 90 today. I know where I’ll be.

Lower chlorine content than other brands. It is effective but you may have to use more often.

One bag of shock usually can handle our pool with 12,500 gallons. If it's really cloudy, we would need to use 2 bags.

It's a great product for getting saltwater pools ready for the year.Our cheap OEM cover failed over winter leaving our pool green and nasty looking. 1 bag made noticeable results in 4 hours and had the water clear by the next day.
