Excellent English series with mature themes, PG-13. Series doesn’t shy away with from difficult topics. Only drawback is that you’ll need a region free DVD player to enjoy

Call the Midwife is simply the best TV programming ever. The British actors are all amazing. American Television can not hold a candle to the cast year after year in Call the Midwife. Every single person is superb in their parts. Thank you to each actor and actress for giving us such quality, breathtaking entertainment. You are all wonderful. You feel like family. I can hardly wait for each season. You are all amazing. Thank you for another season of unsurpassed quality entertainment. Hurry back for season 12. We’ll be waiting.

I LOVE Watching the relationships and medical issues that evolve. It proves that the past was not a simpler time, but many problems of past continue to present times. Coping is similar. Medical care has progressed.

Call The Midwife is one of the best shows ever written. The characters coupled with the historical context of each episode is spot on. A must watch!

Tackles social issues really well!

It was sent from England it seems. Maybe that is why it will not play in my DVD/Blu-Ray. The player says cannot read, check the regional code. It has been a few weeks since I got it, but I have the original packaging. The question now is, how do I send it back and get my money back????

As always the brilliant acting, combined with a beautiful poetic story, triumphs in producing a journey for the viewer. Opening with wisdom and closing with wisdom, it is like visiting friends. I don't watch much in the form of movies, or television anymore, as it has become so dark, and I do not wish to pollute my mind with the darkness of what is being offered up as a distraction...I would rather feel as" Call the Midwife" always brings my heart, hope, love and the ability to thrive regardless of our circumstances. I will always be a faithful watcher, and applaud the lovely actresses and actors who always leave me feeling as though I have met a friend.

I'm Italian but like English and stories from the 60's . Having read the book, I decided to watch the series of which I had read fantastic reviews. Lovely setting, moving stories exceptional actors. Wish it would never end . I admire Heidi, so sensitive . Good also for my English as it adds vocabulary and idioms to my knowledge of the English language.

Arrived promptly on the day of release so I spent the whole day watching it!!!!! I love this series. It's gentle but doesn't pull punches and this series was especially graphic towards the end but utterly brilliant as always. Can't wait for the next series to come out.

I love Call the Midwife. I bought the dvds cos it's not streaming on tv where I live, so can't watch it. But buying the dvds is worth it cos I don't want to miss any episode.

As time goes by, it becomes more and more interesting, exciting , educational and surprisingly classic. All my friends here in Ahens , Greece that watch the series are committed fans of all the casting and their adventures. AND WE REALLY LOOK FORWARD TO SEASON 12 !!

This is a superb drama series. I have all the series and love to bing watch them all.
