Great product. Works like a charm. Monitor your start capacitor cut -out switch, which is the main cause for the start capacitor ro fail. If running amps do not drop after the initial surge, stop using the motor, replace the Sinpac Switch. By continue useage, the winding over- heat and fail. Motors have gone up in price. Almost 300-400%.

Wiring was confused as the back is labeled + and - . Once i figured the + is from battery and the - goes to a fuse and then the ignition switch, it was super easy. This does require 3 screws for mounting (not included) and a 2 5/8" hole to recess into a dash. This was accurate once I used the small dial to zero it out, was accurate to +-1 amp. Overall, came quick and worked great !

Use care not to tighten the quarter inch nuts on the electrical connectors. It comes with two in total nuts. I feel it was necessary to add a base nut careful not to overtighten it but to tighten the outer nut with a lock washer to add safty to the install over the wire. I do recommend this meter and I plan to buy again.

item showed up when expected and in good condition only problem was that i would have liked to have more adjustment to fully zero the needle other than that i would buy again if needed .

meter was wrapped excellent and no external damage. as soon as I unwrapped the layers of bubble wrap I noticed the needle was maxed out to the right. there was no way to zero the meter using the set screw, I would have to adjust it using a galvanometer which I wasn't ready to do.
