Under the dust jacket is a light grey, cloth backing with gold/bronze foil letters. It makes a beautiful addition to my rapidly growing Tolkien collection.

This is a viable encyclopaedia with very good information. This book can help you a lot reading the silmarilion. And the quality is amazing , the book is sewn binding, the paper is thick with a great quality and the illustrations are gorgeous.

I have ordered this book as present for myself for Christmas. Today I have got it. And this is Dictionary, not guide....when you ordering Guide , you expecting maps, info about races und places...and this is simply dictionary....what I have to read here????? really disappointed and not recommending.. 79€ for the dictionary with good pictures...my most expencive and dissappointing book..

Book arrived on time. On opening it I found it to be totally first rate quality, I am extremely pleased with this buy
