I live the vibe that prince the revolution has gone to us, and now with this beautiful purple vinyl it makes as a music listener a perfect opportunity to enjoy one of the most remarkable albums to ever make during this 20th century 🙏🏼

An important film of its time. Much more than a music video. Prince was such an amazing performer. I had the pleasure of seeing multiple concerts of the Purple Rain tour. Throw it on your screen, turn it up, and let’s go crazy.

Prince will always have one of the best voices in my opinion, and this is a must have for anyone’s collection that agrees!

Best ever CD. This is my second one of the same CD. I only gave it four stars because the case was cracked.

I love this album. I love the song. It’s truly a classic masterpiece. Be careful though, the song Darling Nikki is not to played around children.

Purple Rain was one of Prince’s best albums. Now my favourite is Musicology, but I think this album is popular for a reason. Make sure to buy the deluxe version with the second cd, it has recordings from the vault. But it is one of my favourite Prince albums of all time.

Any Prince fan on the planet has been waiting for this for years. It's the last thing prince oversaw before his death, a remaster of his most famous work. Of course its incredible, however the real bonus for purpleheads is the bonus material on offer, and there is a lot - a whole albums worth of 11 songs recorded during the period and never before getting an official release (the moot point being would Prince have wanted this if he were alive, probably not) and another disc of edits, B-sides and 12" Mixes. Most deluxe editions hold little to no value add for even the most ardent fan of the band or artist in question, not the case here - most of the unreleased stuff has been widely bootlegged and is really top class, The Dance Electric and Possessed standing out, while B -Sides 17 Days and Erotic City could have featured on the original album (no higher praise needed). 12" mixes of I Would Die 4 U and Let's Go Crazy improve on the originals, and the 12 minute Computer Blue ("Hallway Speech" version) takes the song to an entirely new place. Prince changed the musical word with Purple Rain. This reissue just might do so again.

一時在庫切れで、待ちに待ったCDが届いて喜んで開けたら、唖然としました。プラスチックケースにはいっていない陳腐な紙のケースでした。がっかりです。値段がこれの半額ならなんとか我慢できますが、これって何？馬鹿にしてるのか？他の２，３人もコメントで段ボールのケースと言っています。天才的プリンスのアルバムは最高なだけに、とても残念だわ。自分でプラスチックケースに入れ替えます。
