Awesome for generator rving
Bought to combine 3500w, 2x2000w inverter generator. Simplified and made easy. Was able to power my 50amp Rv no issues. All though you connect 3 generators only comes with two parallel cords.

Only 2 parallel cords included.
Works good with 2 Westinghouse generators but was unable to parallel 3rd due to only getting 2 cords with unit and the additional cord from Genmax has different connectors. So that was nice to find out at the campground 🤬

I'm running 3 Honda's
I got this to tie 3 Honda's together. I have 1 x eu2200i, 1 x eu2000i companion and 1 x eu2000i. The cables are a bit of a problem as others have mentioned because it only comes with 2 and despite my best efforts I could not provision a 3rd cable. The Honda parallel cable will not plug into this unit because the plugs are different, but the 2 cables that it comes with have adapters that will plug into your Hondas. Again, problem is there's only 2. So I cut one Honda parallel cable in half and one of the Genmax parallel cables in half and soldered and heat shrink'd half a Honda cable to half a Genmax cable making 2 cables that would plug a Honda into the Genmax, and then I had a total of 3 cables that would plug 3 Honda's into the Genmax. That's 5000 watts / 41.57 amps nominal and 6200 watts / 51.67 amps surge which is ideal for an RV's 50 amp service. Unfortunately the extra capacity didn't solve my compressor hard starts on the A/C units, so I did have to add soft starts to each A/C as well to be able to run both A/C's without tripping the safety on the Hondas. But once I did that, I can now run any combination of 1, 2 or 3 generators to service whatever load configuration the RV requires. Also which is a given, I can manage moving around the generators on my own (One or two at a time). I've also upgraded one gen to dual fuel so we can run the bedroom a/z throughout the night on propane without having to refuel. In conclusion, this device has no secret sauce, it just gangs 3 gens together and gives you 30amp and 50 amp breaker with standard RV plugs. Simplicity at it's finest.

Love this unit
Bought this unit and bought the 5500 unit as well. Good unit starts right away! Great tech support as well. Would buy more.

Nice, not as quiet as I thought.
It's a nice generator but it's a little louder than I thought when you put even 25% load, it cranks up pretty loud. Don't count on any customer support, I purchased two of them at the same time with the exact same hours and same number of oil changes at the same time and one of them continues to produce a lot of metal shavings in the oil, when I contacted GenMax about a solution they refuse to respond...

Cable not compatible with Genmax3500 parallel port
I purchased two Genmax 3500 generators and emailed Genmax support to get the part number for the recommended parallel kit. This is the one they told me to purchase but the supplied cables do no fit the parallel ports on my generators. I have emailed their support, if resolution is positive or I'm doing something wrong I'll change this rating.

Nice but ground cables too short
Nice unit but with the parallel cables supplied the ground cables are too short to reach the ground post. I can easily resolve this but for the price one would think….Hmmm
