Chocolate Taste 30pieces

I was looking for a snack to take on my bike rides that doesn't melt or get sticky under heat, this might be the perfect thing. They're also pretty dry so water is a must. I like the taste okay, it smells/tastes chocolatey enough for me for what it is. They are kinda sweet but not overly. If you are purchasing these to have as an emergency food supply, keep in mind they only have a shelf life of 1 year. The BB date on the case I got is 10 months from now, but I'll probably use them all up by then. Also planning to give some to friends and family. Update: Took 1 pack out of the box for a bike ride and it held up just fine in my pocket. Also was a good snack to have out there, they're pretty dry but I always take water with me so it was fine.

It took a few weeks to get through them all, and it wasn't easy at times! These dry, but still very delicious biscuits pack a lot of calories into them!! I'm thinking next time, rather than challenge myself to try to eat calories in the tens of thousands in a short window of time, I will save these as useful babies as members of my Emergency Food Rations collection. I think that's what they're intended for.. I can't be sure!

Amazonでカロリーメイトはそこまで安くならない印象ですが、この30箱入りケースはクーポンなどで5,000円を切るタイミングが定期的にあるので、その時に買うようにしています。以前はコンビニや会社の売店で2本入りを買っていましたが、ケース購入だと2本あたり60円台まで抑えられるのでかなりお得です。 体重やLDLコレステロールを意識し始めてから、会社での間食を見直しました。以前は小腹が空くたびにスナック菓子や菓子パンを買っていましたが、今はカロリーメイトと無調整豆乳が定番です。健康食品というより、「余計な物を買わなくなる」のが一番大きな効果だったかもしれません。 朝食代わりではなく、休憩時間に1本ずつ食べています。空腹を完全に満たすほどではありませんが、次の食事まで繋ぐには十分で、食べ過ぎ防止にも役立っています。 プロテインバーも色々試しましたが、自分には甘すぎたり味が尖りすぎていて、お菓子を食べている感覚が強く長続きしませんでした。その点カロリーメイトは味の主張が強すぎず、良い意味で毎日食べても飽きないです。主食代わりや補助食として続けやすいのは、この絶妙なバランスのおかげだと思います。 チーズ味やフルーツ味なども試してきましたが、結局はチョコレート味に戻ってきました。何箱食べても飽きず、今でもこれが一番お気に入りです。 派手さはありませんが定番商品です。

This product is a great safe/emergency food. It tastes like a cross between a shortbread cookie and a very mildly sweetened hot cocoa.

Dry and tasty. You can eat them with Gatorade. Expensive because they come from Tokyo.
