DOMETIC RE-IGNITER SUBSTITUTE
Perfect substitute for obsoleted 2931132019 re-igniter. Easy installation, just need to connect 12 vdc wires and change the terminal lug on the igniter, easy clip off and crimp on procedure. May need to move mounting location slightly. Refrigerator working like new again.

Worked for my rv fridge
Worked perfectly to fix my rv fridge. Oem one was discontinued and outrageously priced for old inventory. Was very happy to be able to save so much $$$

short lived
I bought this to use on my RV 3 way fridge. The unit is supposed to spark to light the propane when the unit is in gas mode. After cutting wire and adding the correct terminals, I turned on the fridge and the unit sparked nicely for about 20 seconds, not even enough time to get gas from the tank to the fridge burner, then the unit quit FOREVER. Too much hassle to re-box and return, beside. I had already added terminals to the wires. No markings what so ever on the unit. Buy this with some skepticism.

Not a good replacement for Dometic Mod 679, part number0679010(1)
I read several reviews here about how it replaces the Dometic Mod 679 re-igniter. At first it appears to work fine. It lights the propane fine. The original re-igniter has a flame sense that senses when the flame is lit through the electrode and turns off the spark. When using this igniter, the spark never stops. The device is also not designed for continuous use so it will probably burn out quickly if it is left on continuously. I decided to go with a universal igniter (UIB-S) that had the flame sense from Dinosaur Electronics. Besides that this appears to be well built and sparks fine, just not great for the refrigerator.

replaced my obsolete dometic re-igniter
After searching for and not being able to find a OEM replacement re-igniter for my dometic RV refrigerator. I replaced it with this. I had to splice it in and change the terminal for probe. It is a $40 part and a 5 minute job to save the cost of a new refrigerator. Thumbs up from me!

Works as advertised
Needs a hefty power supply. I had to add a fly back diode to prevent interference with my microcontroller even when using an optocoupler relay
