This camera and monitor are very well made. The installation was very easy as you simply need a 12 volt power wire and a good ground to operate the camera and the same for the monitor. The picture quality is very, very good. The signal strength is great and in fact, I tested how far I could put the camera away from the monitor and still have a crisp, clear picture and the distance was more than 100 feet.You could use this for many other purposes as long as you have a 12 volt power source. The camera clarity is very impressive, When you back into a garage during the bright daylight the cameras picture is far better than what you see in the mirrors or with your naked eye. I have some very bright LED lights on the back on my vehicle for illuminating while backing and even when the lights were on and then suddenly turned off, the image in the monitor from the camera was perfect.The camera is heavier than I expected, which is NOT a problem and in fact, the housing for the camera is well made and very water proof as far as using it on the exterior of a vehicle in the rain or snow.The mounting of the monitor was very simple, I used one of the suction cups which came with the monitor and it has held the monitor without any issues. The vehicle in which this camera is mounted does have a rough ride at time and bounces when driven off the road, etc. If the monitor was going to come loose with the suction cup, it would have by now and it has NOT moved an inch.The monitor mounting bracket provides a wide range of adjustment options. The brackets hold the monitor securely and are widely adjustable with reasonable limitations which did not create any issues for my use.This purchase is one I would say has been PERFECT. The seller even followed up multiple times via email when I didn't post a review right away to make sure that I wasn't having problems with their product. The quality of both the monitor and the camera are very high. The wiring is fine and plenty of wire was provided for finding power sources to operate the camera and monitor. The camera mounting bracket holds it very secure.I would have to say that purchase has probably been the best one I have made this year from Amazon and I have had about 30 other purchases, according to my "orders" tab on Amazon's site.I can give you no reason to hesitate and not order this immediately. On a scale of 1 to 100, with 100 being absolutely ideal and everything perfect, I can honestly give this a 100 from my perspective and use. I have used this device now for about 35 hours and it's been great. This is one of those items that once you own it and have used it, you will not want to be with out it,.Note, the monitor is LARGE, but that is exactly what I wanted. The monitor is probably too large for install in anything smaller than a full sized truck, SUV, etc.************UPDATE****************It's now been over 3 months and I have used the camera for over 150 hours and it still works GREAT. Very happy with my purchase and find this camera is a great safety feature.

I have this camera on the back of a 19' travel trailer, connected via wireless to the monitor in my tow vehicle (full length vehicle plus 19' travel trailer) and it worked without any issues upon the very easy installation.Tech details:* Camera has a very, very long power cable with detactable pigtail connector (so you could add/remove it if needed.)** I cut this off as I only needed 6" of cable to route into the wiring harness already installed in my travel traielr, but its always better to have far too much cable (can cut) than too little. I love it when manufacturers realize this and don't get stingy.* Monitor also has a very long power feed cable, but it is hardwired into a 12 volt adapter so plan accordingly (not usb).** Monitor can attach to multiple cameras and also record, but I've not messed with recording yet.Usage Details:* So far its connected within seconds of both monitor and camera being powered on.* Updates fast enough to see cars coming up behind me, but it is still a half second to second delay so if they fly up on you FAST you may not see them coming and then suddenly they are there (happened to me, but they were hauling ass.)* Monitor is bright, I have it pointed slightly away from me directly back so I have it at a 45 degree angle which cuts down its brightness quite a bit for night driving. Otherwise I'd have to lower its brightness in its settings.

Works good not great. It WILL work with an Aluminum Travel trailer. I have a 34’ Jayco TT and Ford F-150. I was worried about interference but it will work and at highway speeds. No black outs noted.Picture is good.Unfortunately the image isn’t centered well. Although it was installed dead center of the TT and flush, the image isn’t truly centered in the monitor. There isn’t enough adjustment available with the side screws that attach the camera to the bracket to compensate. I had already Sealed the bracket and mounting screws in place before noticing the alignment otherwise I would have shimmed it to align the image.

Installed this camera on my 26' car hauler. I hooked it up to my clearance lights so it is on all the time. Working great. It's nice to see behind the trailer and know what the traffic is doing.
