This looks exactly like the model for fitness instructors, yet all reviews look like musicians - it's model number matches as well? Fitness use?

The SM35 is not specifically designed for fitness use as it does not offer the type of sweat/water protection that the SM31FH offers.  The reason musicians use the SM35 over the SM31FH is because it has a larger and much higher quality microphone capsule which offers better sound quality compared to that of the SM31FH.

If the mic is wireless and I buy a body pack transmitter, is there a base station needed? If so which one?

It depends on what type of a system you are looking for. Does the wired version of this mic require phantom power? if so, then what powers it when connected to usb icicle?

Yes, this does require phantom power. I almost sent it back, thinking it didn't work, then I pushed phantom power button and it came alive. The description of the Icicle says "It's even got 48V phantom power for those power-hungry condenser mics." So you should be good to go.

Is there diffetens size on this mic becouse i bought it but it looks was designed for a baby it doesnt fit my head and mic cant reach to my mouth?
