Being a product of Canada, and finding no Kosher insignia on the box or on the inner wrappers, I would have to say no (and the lemon cake bars are the only ones I've found so far to be non-GMO).

Packaging changed. old package said non gmo. new package doesn't say that. does this mean it's gmo now?

This is my third time trying to give you an accurate answer. I’ve been looking carefully at the Amazon Pure Protein website, at the different flavors of Pure Protein bars. The Lemon Cake says specifically “GMO free” but possibly not on the packaging. It is listed down towards the bottom of the endlessly scrolling info. The Chocolate Deluxe, however, definitely has “bioengineered” ingredients. (Notice how cleverly they avoided using the acronym “GMO” that everyone is familiar with.) So I think you are safe with the Lemon Cake as far as GMO free. But I noticed on the wrapper of a lemon one that I still have from before, it lists 2g of sugar alcohol, whereas the new ones have 4g. Also I think they added erythritol and maybe changed some other ingredients too. I wish they would not mess with a good thing!
