Triangle Convertible Full Face Motorcycle Helmet DOT Approved for Men Women

I'll start off by saying I am not one to spend $$$$ on a helmet. I want one that works, but don't want it to cost more than my mortgage. Trying to find a happy medium of one that is not TOO expensive, but has decent fit and features is easier said than done. I first noticed the look of this one and loved the colors (which the pink and blue are much brighter in person than the stock photos looked). Modulars are usually so heavy, but I liked the idea of having face access when I need it (drink, chapped lips, etc) so this was perfect. The face piece is easy enough to get off and on while still wearing the helmet (though takes a bit of practice to figure out exactly where the slots are without looking). I usually remove the clear visor (though may add that back on for cooler weather riding) and love that the sun visor seats inside the chin piece so no glasses are needed. There is a ton of airflow in the helmet so I even wear it on 90+ degree days without issue. I could even use my microphone on my headset so I can still have coms when riding. The cord on mine plugs in so I just unplug it when removing the chin piece, or set the chin on my shoulder if I'm just taking a quick drink and leave the mic attached. It is more of a round fit helmet so my head shape fits much better in this one than more oblong helmets. I personally don't like how it looks without the chin piece since it is more round and looks more mushroom-y, but I need my com mic anyway so I don't wear it without it. My only "complaint" is that the slide to drop down the sun visor and the slide to disconnect the chin piece are close together and feel similar enough that I have gone to drop down the visor and disconnected one side of the jaw instead. The more I wear it, the less of an issue that is, but did it a few times in the beginning. Thankfully, the jaw stays mostly in the slot so you can just push it back in.

This is a great looking helmet, perfect for summer, or warmer, weather. The face shield and front guard is two pieces that make this helmet excel, however there are some flaws. The front guard is janky at best to put on. Have to come in at an angle and even then it may not lock. Requires force to lock it down. The face shield covers the entirety of your face, not just your eyes. That means any upward wind will get into the helmet. The pros to this helmet are, it is very comfortable. The padding included fits snug and speakers installed are perfect against your ear. This helps with lots of wind noise. Another big pro. With the face guard and the sun visor down, it's dead quiet for the type of helmet this is. That even with tons of venting, and the for mentioned upward wind. You can't go wrong with this helmet. It looks good, has good functionality, and will serve its purpose flawlessly.

I needed a new cool and cold weather helmet going into the season and wanted to give this style a try. In FL, winters consist of cool (sometimes cold) mornings and warmer afternoons. A full helmet works for the winter mornings but is sometimes too stuffy for the afternoon. I liked that I could use the facemask in the morning and easily remove it for the afternoon. There are no vents in the helmet, so I would not recommend using the full shield above 85 degrees. It would be too hot. This helmet is very aerodynamic and is the first one I have had in a long while that does not lift up when I get to highway speeds. I do ride behind a windshield. First time out I stood up at about 45 and the helmet was very comfortable in the windstream. The full shield is optically correct, and it is easy to forget it is even there, until you go to scratch your nose and bop yourself in the face. So for the bad: I took away 1 star for 2 reasons. The first is that the chin strap is too far back and presses on my throat. It would be nice if it could be shifted slightly forward. Second is that the full shield is very difficult to push up with 1 hand. It snaps down onto the lower part of the helmet shell and is designed to be raised with 2 hands. I have tried to raise it 3 times at low speed and twice one side popped off in my hand. Both times I had to pull it off completely and tuck it under one leg to pull over, take the helmet off, and pop it back on. Very dangerous when that happens in traffic. Sometimes you have to raise it while riding, so I would recommend wearing the helmet and practicing raising it with one hand. It can be done; you just have to be careful. It has to be rotated upward while pushing in at the top. Any force applied outward will pop it out. EDIT: After riding a few weeks (daily) here are my updates: 1- the chin strap attachment points loosened up after a day or two and now it sits comfortably on my neck as it is supposed to, so that problem is resolved 2- the full-face shield now pops off most times I go to lower or raise it, whether I use 2 hands or not. The attachment points seem to have loosened up. It fogs up under 15mph because it is so close to my nose and mouth, so I used to use 1 hand to drop it down once I got to the main road, Now I have to put it down before riding or leave it up for the whole trip. The shield must be raised to put the helmet on and then lowered, so this morning I had to take the helmet off, reattach the shield, and put the helmet back on 4 times before I was able to successfully lower the shield and start riding. The shield is such a PIA that I have clear safety glasses that I use in the evening and just leave it up, since it is a little warmer (the internal visor is smoke, so i can't use it after dark). I will probably just toss the shield and use the facemask during colder mornings. I want to remove another star, but I do like this helmet. It is very comfortable, cool looking, and the removable facemask is nice. It's just that the full shield is so poorly designed, like an afterthought. If there was a clear option for the internal shield, I could toss the full shield, use sunglasses during the day and it would be the perfect helmet. For that reason, I will leave it at 4 starts and still recommend the helmet.

Love the helmet, its great quality for the price. However, I wear a small but read reviews and measured and it said they run small. Mine did not, it was too big. So I immediately ordered another one in a small but now I have to wait, again but I liked it that much!! Just ready to take it for a ride. So if you guys could put a rush in on the shipping for me that would be fantastic!! Good product

The helmet looks very cool. My issue is the chin piece isnt big enough/stick out far enough, if that makes sense. Essentially my chin rubs on the lower face piece and it makes the helmet unbearable. I was really hoping this would work, pretty bummed. The clear visor also fogged up terrible on me.

Great fit and solid protection, awesome visors and more importantly it looks BADASS!!!

The plus on this helmet is it looks cool. That's it. The minuses are WAY TOO MANY. I gave this 2 stars then as I typed I had to bring it down to 1 star. The part that covers your face is so flimsy that if you did fall your going to get smashed in the face. The face piece is held in on both sides with plastic mechanisms. It's hard to get in to the socket when the helmet is off. Impossible when the helmet is on. The buttons to release the face piece is right next to the sun shade button.. good luck getting the right one with gloves on and traveling down the road. You'll end up with 1 side of the face piece dangling off till you stop, take your gloves off, remove the helmet, snap it back in, put the helmet back on, then gloves then head on your way... simple. Now that we have discussed functionality lets do comfort. The face piece is directly in front of your nose. if you push on the helmet even slightly you feel the pressure on your nose. There are NO vents at all. It was 80f out side yesterday, first real warm day since I got this. I was sweating all around my head on a 20 min ride from work.. with the clear face shield up! It says DOT approved on the back but I do not trust this helmet at all. you can remove the face piece without hitting any of the buttons, it just pulls off. I have uploaded a video showing everything I have discussed. This does explain why it's a "frequently returned Item"

This helmet met my expectations. The helmet is lightweight and comfortable, I love the features it has. Being able to remove the padding to clean and also offers the options to add Bluetooth. The visor being removable is like having 3 different styles of helmets. Being DOT certified is a big plus since it’s your safety net! Showed my buddies they want to make a purchase of this helmet after seeing it in person! Thank you! Ride safe!
