Peek-A-Boo! (Baby Faces Board Book #01)

My baby loves this book. I first learned about this series from his pediatrician, she gave him one at his 6 month and nine month checkup. So I went online and googled to see if there were other books in the series and found this one on Amazon and ordered this one and two others in the series. My baby loves these more than any of his other books, he likes to look at the babies in the books. He will pick one of them up and hold it out to me to read it to him over and over. My baby loves to play peek-a-boo, he even plays it with our dogs! Great simple book for babies. Would recommend to any new parent for baby's first book or set of books!

With our first child, I was crushed when, as an infant he didn't seem interested in books. Of course I realize now that it is a rare two month old who will sit and happily read books, but I was thrilled with our first when he became enamored with this book! For months it was a favorite and I believe paved the way for his early loving of other books. This book is superior to others because the large photos and different expressions and babies pictured. Our second child loved it as well and now, our third child is also laughing at the babies, with our oldest reading the simple words to her! We all highly recommend it!

I was introduced to these books by my son's pediatrician. Both my son and my daughter have loved these books. Books with real faces are great for infant development. These books are a must have. Not really a Peek-a-Boo book, but still cute and fun. If you're really looking for a peek-a-boo style book, Puppy Boo is an awesome one.

My grand baby spent a lot of time "on Facebook" as my son-in-law called her time with this book. It is just baby faces. It is a well made board book, but like all board books, enough sucking on the edges and they turn to mush. But like I said, she spent a lot of time with this book while from 7 to 9 months old. I'd get it again.

This series is the best in terms of board books with pictures of babies. My daughter loved the "Sleep" book from this series so we picked this one up as well. It is a little less coherent than the sleep book. It consists of a number of different pictures, mostly featuring emotions. The words are are easy to read and a bit lyrical. The pictures are high quality and it is a sturdy little book. My daughter has had this book since she was about eight months old and continues to enjoy it now three months later. If I was going to buy one book in this series it would be "Sleep", which remains a favorite of ours.

Children love to look at other children's faces and this book is great for that! My boys spend lots of time looking at the kids' faces and trying to make the same faces. This is a book that I keep in the car - when the boys get fussy, I hand them this book, and it usually keeps them content for a while! :)

I wanted to get a book with simple images on each page and not over crowded with multiple photos. This book is just that. Our baby LOVES this book. We imitate the faces in the book so she turns a page a d waits for us to imitate the expression. She picks it up herself many times during the day for us to read to her. Worth the buy.
