Too difficult to use
Impossible to get the radio into this pouch without a huge struggle. I gave up. Imagine trying to extricate the radio in an emergency. Enough said. I bought the canvas pouch as well and will be using that after some minor modifications to the plastic coli lanyard. This $15.99 was a waste for me though.

Go with a pouch setup.
Tore the second time I installed it onto the Nautilus Lifeline. Thought it was going to be good product due to the nice fit. But when I removed it, just to test how easy it would be if I needed to use the PLB, it tore near the latch opening during reinstall. Will be buying a pouch to carry while diving instead of this sleeve design.

Not really usable
You canโt use the devise with this cover on. Impossible to take off in an emergency on the water.

Not that durable
The pouch is compact but when I removed the unit to test it the silicone tore rendering it completely useless. I paid $19.95 for it from a local dive shop on July 15th, 2017 and it failed April 4th, 2018. It's a nice idea but I don't think it's durable enough for repeated removal and insertion of the device it's meant to protect/hold. For this lower price on Amazon and people who want to set it up and forget about it this may work. For myself, venturing often 30-100 miles off shore on small private boats, where the unit will be tested prior to each trip this is probably not what's best. I don't care for their other nylon pouch either and am looking for a compact but durable option from a 3rd party manufacture.

Worth it, despite the price
The price of the item, above the cost of the transmitter unit itself, may appear to be somewhat fulsome, for a simple silicone pouch. Nevertheless, the quality of the silicone appears to be up to its price, but more importantly, the molding adds an additional safeguard preventing the latch from popping out, and opening the unit at depth. It is only splash-proof. You can buy the (even more) expensive latch-pouch, that one can secure at the base of the BCD shoulder strap (beneath the arm-pit, where the strap meets the base of the vest), or use the silicone pouch if you store it in your BCD pocket, where movement in there can inadvertently open the latch (through rubbing/friction/contact, and just plain Murphy's Law bad luck getting stuck-on-something it was not supposed to get stuck on when rubbing the BCD vest pocket against something somewhere) : The silicone pouch will secure the latch if you store it there. I myself use a spare/empty weight-belt pocket that I secure to the back of the tank strap itself, and put the transmitter in there. It frees-up the other BCD pockets, where the stuff you put in there is used more often that the last-resort transmitter. With the silicone pouch secured back there in that pocket, it won't move, and it will stay really forget-about-it-secured/protected, until needed. Maybe because of this, perhaps one should then not forget to put a "Check Transmitter Battery" on the annual equipment review check-list. I would not secure the silicone pouch on an exterior strap. Although the silicone is good quality, it is not nylon fiber strength.
