Great exercise rowing machine
This magnetic rowing machine is great addition for my home gym room. The quality is excellent and easy to use. While I using it, it’s really quiet and smooth compared to other excises equipments. LCD screen is easy to read, it displays calories, counts, time etc. it’s really helpful. It help me with my weight loss measurements. It’s pretty easy to assemble, the only confused part for me, it’s put the two large bolts in the bottom for the foot pads. I first installed the foot pads backwards, once I figured out. I just switched them back. I usually rowed for 30 minutes, it got my heart rate up and felt my arms, back shoulder muscles working. It’s a great workout machine. I been use it at least 4 time per week. So far works great, the price is great. I am pleased with the purchase.

Good value for the cost; don’t store vertically for child safety reasons
PROs: This is as good as $1000 rowing machine you might find in a gym, is quiet, and will give you a full body workout. It took 20 minutes to assemble (1 person and not an engineer!), and is compact in terms of saving space. CONs: If you have small children in the home, don’t store it in the vertical position unless it’s in a locked closet because it poses a serious risk of injury by being pulled down or falling. I’m somewhat petite (5’5) and my feet (in size 9 running shoes) tend to start slipping out of the foot braces as I get going. This is because you can adjust the tightness of the Velcro straps but not their relative position around your foot, so because the default foot size is for a bigger person the Velcro is around the front (rather than center) of my foot. However, many women and smaller framed people will have the same issues with proportions of various gym equipment. I read a number of reviews online for rowing machines under $300 and this one was highly rated. All considered, it’s a very good buy for the price point.

Great Rower!
Easy to assemble and easy to use rowing machine! I couldn’t believe how quickly I put it together - don’t pay for the install, do it yourself. Great full body workout with a simple display screen and an easy adjustment knob. I would give it a 4.5 if I could only because the machine doesn’t count how many meters you row. Many of the workouts I want to try go off of meters, so that’s the only downside. Otherwise great machine. I got the protection just in case, but so far it’s been really sturdy. Also, easy to fold and put away which is nice

Not a good first impression, and even worse support.
Coming out of the box I had flimsy broken plastic, scuffed aluminum and missing hardware. Instructions are terrible, but it’s together. I’ll adjust the review after using it a few times but I expect it will go down, not up. Nothing so far has felt well made at all. It feels like a $75 discount store special. I’m only giving it 3 stars hoping it works better than it comes out of the box. Update: The computer also doesn't work. Update 2: After several weeks of owning it, I still have a rower that was delivered with multiple damaged parts and a non-functioning computer. I've made multiple attempts to contact the seller. Initially, they asked me to provide photos, which I did, and since then they have not responded at all to multiple attempts to contact them. If it arrives working this *might* be a nice enough little rower, but it's clear the seller is not interested in supporting the product at all, and I wish I'd taken my dollars elsewhere.

I love it! Great value and quiet!
I did about 6 hours of research looking online at different rowers and this is exactly what I wanted! The rower length is actually 64" when in use and not folded (not sure why they state 70"). I am 5'4", so this is perfect for me and my small apartment! I did not see any description of the nylon, so I was happy to see it is a 1" NYLON STRAP and not a cord. The assembly was a quick 1 hour by myself, since you assemble 7 large pieces with their supplied bolts and washers. On that note, 2 washers were missing from their 'hardware pack'. Moving the rower on carpet is hard and the 'front wheel' is useless. It looks more like a plastic knob that screws in. That is why I was SO happy the rower is shorter by 6 inches! It is very quiet, all you hear is rolling seat and slight "whoosh" of nylon strap against resistance.

Ok for the money
Good enough for the price when you figure water rowers are $1000 +. If you've rowed at the gym this is a bit of a disappointment but gets the job done. At 5'4 even I wish the handles extended further forward. The seat traction is a bit stiff as well. Tension is good and can be adjusted. I definitely get a sweat. But big complaint is the computer. It doesn't count, just sits there at zero. I guess I still get a workout bit the equipment is lacking.

Decent Machine. Impressive Customer Service.
The rower itself is a basic, quiet, perfectly fine machine. Good value for the money. But that is not what prompted me to write this review. After installation, the LCD display didn’t work. After a bit of searching, I found a way to contact the seller to have them advise of a solution. They were truly impressive in the promptness of replies, the level of understanding of the problem and their willingness and eagerness to fine a solution. They promptly sent me another display, and instructed me on how to install it. Frankly, a lot of sellers could learn a thing or two from them on how to work with their customers.

Meets My Needs 100%
I've had this for about a month now and wanted to use it a few time before posting a review. I read many reviews of various machines before deciding on this one and I made the right choice for me. This rower is perfect for me -- a 75-yer-old senior with arthritis in the hands and knees who wants to be able to exercise at home when I can't go to the gym or the weather is bad. I agree with some of the reviews that it won't be enough for pros, but I think most people can get a good workout with it. I do notice a difference when changing levels and I'm still on 4 or 5. The problem some have mentioned about the handles hitting their knees can be solved by changing your arm angle -- I find this also gives a better work out to the arm muscles. As for the footrests, they are perfect for me (women size 8) and the straps fit where they should. I love that I can stand it on end and store it next to a wall out of the way. All in all, a good purchase and I'm very satisfied with it.

Great Rower for Pricepoint
I’ve had this rower for two weeks now and there isn’t anything I don’t like. It’s the perfect rower for the beginner at home. Its relatively compact, stores upright which is space saving, has 8 tension settings, is smooth and one of the best things is it’s so quiet! You can actually row while watching tv or listening to music and not have to worry about not hearing what you’re watching or listening to!! It’s the perfect addition for a small home gym! I read some of the negative comments, and if you are a serious rower or very advanced, then yes, this machine may not be the one for you. But for a beginner rower or for someone who wants a good core and cardio workout at home, this machine is perfect for that! It was very easy and straight forward to assemble.

My best friend
I love the machine but the screen stop to work, make a noise and I decide to took out the battery. I don’t like that part, but I don’t have time to apply for the garanty. My husband is very sick! I’m too busy.

Display stopped working within three months
This rower arrived fine, but took awhile to assemble (but that could be me. Assembly is not my strong suit). It worked great for a few months, and then suddenly the display stopped working. Changing batteries, re-attaching the wiring, hitting the button several times, nothing worked. The display does not affect the actual rowing, which works fine and as expected. The pedals do squeak quite a bit, so they need some WD-40 or similar if that bothers you. Looking more closely at reviews, the display seems to be a common issue that they must know about. I contacted the seller about it and negotiated a partial refund. I would review them more highly for their customer service (as issues happen and the important thing is how sellers handle those issues) except they tried to get me to email them directly and communicate off-site. FYI, that's not something you should do - and I think Amazon expressly forbids that as they had sent me the email they wanted me to use as an image attachment. If you communicate off-site, then Amazon doesn't have a record of your conversation and can't intervene to help if needed. They also made me shoot a video to show the problem which can't be sent via Amazon's communication system. But they accepted the issue without receiving the video when I stated I wouldn't email them. Which leads me to believe they know some of their rowers have this issue. So, beware of that. IF it worked properly, it's a great $300 rower. It's just a shame about the display and the follow-up.
