This things a tank
fantastic drill press vice. I like the quick release action as sitting there trying to spin the jaws close gets old fast. The build quality is great for this as well. I've dropped this twice now from my drill press onto a concrete floor and the vice had no scratches on it and functioned flawlessly (my floor survived too!). If you're looking for a nice compact indestructable drill press vice, this is probably what you're looking for.

Great drillpress vise!
I ordered one for my x-y crossslide drillpress table. I like it so much, I bought a second one! Great product, great price and amazing clamping ability. Highly recommended this one!

Good quality for the price
Good quality construction for the price. Works as expected. Only issue is that the jaws do not close all the way to zero. You have to use a set of parallels if that is what you need. I may change the jaws plates some day.

A very nice Quick Clamp drill press vise at a very reasonable price.
This is a very good quality 4" Quick Clamp drill press vise similar in design to a Shars or other generic brand, and I'm very impressed with the fit and finish of the manufacturing, especially at this price point. Better still, both the slide and clamp handles have ergonomically non-pinching and smooth phenolic balls on the end of them, just as they should have, instead of the cheapy t-handles you might find on others versions of the vise. The machining of the vise jar surfaces look to be properly parallel ground and are flat and smooth. I'm expecting that I will get a lot of good use from this vise.
