SistemaNest It Food Storage Containers with Lids, Multicolor, (Pack of 8)

Bought these for my kids lunches. Some containers can be very difficult to open and close. The compartments are the same size, open and close easily and a must dishwasher safe, top rack. Even if these only last a year, eith the price and amount of containers, well worth it.

I got these for light lunch and snack prep and they are just the right size for this. You won’t fit a sandwich but they are plenty big for cheese and crackers, a couple of hard boiled eggs, nuts and fruits, a small piece of chicken or other protein and a small serving of veggies or a few bites of salad.I have had them for a while and while I would consider these light/medium duty containers, so far none have broken.Some info/tips:—When you stack them (see photo), they are about 8” tall, maybe just slightly more. They fit nicely on a shelf.—The container has two compartments, each of which has an inner dimension of 4.5” x 2.5” at the bottom; they flare out slightly so they are a bit wider at the top. The containers are a little over 2” tall—closer to 2 1/4” but I never fill them to the brim.—These are not going to fit a whole sandwich, a big piece of meat, or an entrée-sized salad. Big eaters probably want bigger containers.—I care for them by washing them on the top rack of the dishwasher away from metal items that could melt them.—I have put them (bottoms only) in the microwave for a couple of minutes with no ill effect.—Lids stay on; so far no spills. I have not used these for straight up liquids like soup or salsa. That said, when I have put pasta with sauce, a small salad with dressing, or yogurt and fruit, it didn’t leak. I also wasn’t tossing it around; it went from fridge to desk.Overall, I was a little wary initially because these are not super thick. However, they have held up fine so far. I recommend giving these a try for smaller lunches and snacks if you need a stackable solution that will survive the top-shelf of your dishwasher.

I have several of these containers. I have a hard time finding them so was happy to see on Amazon. My grandson takes them to work and can heat them safely in the microwave. I love the way they stack making them easy to store!! They are the only non glass storage containers I use.

I've bought other Systema products and was pleased with them, but not so much with these. These are very thin and sometimes it is difficult to close one side. I would not buy them again. They are not typical of Systema's usual quality.

These lunch boxes get used daily! My kids have sure put them to the test. They are quite durable, fit nicely into their lunch bags, and have been leak proof! Making for easy cleaning.

We needed some new containers to send some soup to a family member. We chose these and have been very happy with them. We did have a problem with one of the green lids not closing completely. Great support from the company and Amazon. Issue was resolved quickly. They seal up good and tight and also stack inside each other with the lids on. This really makes them take up less space. We have now ordered another set.==UPDATE==We really did like the containers at first, but after a year of use we have found that they warp a bit in the dishwasher (top rack) and also are really hard to get really clean. Seems like there is a 'film' on them after you wash them. Some of them now are really had to keep latched. We now regret buying the 2nd set. Because of these reasons I had to knock them down to 2 stars.

This works great for lunch prep. The lid fits securly and locks into place, keeps the 2 compartments and their ingredients seperate.

I bought these thinking it would be a replacement for containers of the same brand I had bought earlier.Boy was i wrong. As good as the old ones were these are equally as bad!They won't clip shut...Nothing I can do will make them clip.I'm pretty sure they must have been designed that way for the sole purpose of frustrating the consumer. If that was their plan then they are geniuses!As an extra bonus, they warp in the dishwasher.

Amo estos contenedores. Son muy grandes por lo que quizá para una porción de comida es demasiado pero yo los uso para dejar listos mis vegetales. Desinfecto y seco lechuga y jitomates y rallo zanahoria y tengo ensalada lista para varios dias. Pico pimientos, calabaza y champiñones y en las mañanas agarro un poco de cada uno, agrego cebolla, sal, ajo y levadura nutricional y al sartén, y tengo verduras deliciosas para desayunar en minutos. Si te cuesta comer verduras porque te da flojera picar y lavar, dedícale media hora cada domingo y tendrás para varios días. Son súper resistentes y les cabe muchísimo.

I use these daily for snack options. Usually vegetables; cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, radishes with a dip. Or a mixture of fruit.If you are looking to place a complete serving of a meal in them, it may not be big enough.Great value. The lids are stiff, however they have not broken on me as of it. I have placed them in the dishwasher but only on the top rack.

Good for meal prep. They have big compartments so can get a good big meal in it with big portions. Round corners so easy to clean. Tight seal and freezes fine.

The lids don't snap to the containers. The containers also warped in the dishwasher.I had other Sistema containers and they wee good quality but the lids broke over time. I figured Sistema was a good brand but I guess I just got lucky the first time.
