For fools like me
I have only had this Cuckoo rice cooker for a week, but it has more than met my expectations.I have a history of burning about 50% of the rice I cook on a stove top, and I bought this unit in the hopes that would save me from my distractible self. It has done that. This is so easy to use it is almost ridiculous. Add rice & water, push one button and it makes perfect rice every time. The only concern I have is that it makes it so easy and foolproof that I may eat more rice than I really should!

Needs better instructions
Good rice cooker I’m just so confused on instructions so I only use the pre sets and as for the measuring cup it came with it’s only measuring 3/4 mark so it’s not even a 1cup instructions say 1 cup of rice two cups water so if this is a 3 cup rice maker how would I do a 3 cup rice if the water level only goes up to 3 water level, if anyone has some suggestions please post and a video on how the settings work on this thing

Works as it should
Size wise it will make up for 3 cups of rice. Which is the equivalent of 3 days for a single person. It's pretty much plug and play. Not much to real about it. Makes the rice really nice, it keeps the smell sealed and the texture as good as it gets. Worth every cent.

good cooker but NOT capable of 6 cups dry rice - more like 4-5 max
On the whole I like this cooker. A few things to note:(1) It does NOT allow 6 cups dry rice. I'm not sure what rice type or method allows 6 cups dry rice; I make brown and black rices which I parboil 1st for 5 minutes, then rinse and add to Cuckoo cooker, using 1:1 water ratio (do NOT use more otherwise rice will be mushy) using multi-grain setting. there is no way this will allow 6 cups dry rice, more like 3-4 cups dry rice if you don't water flying out the top vent.(2) removing the rubber gasket from the inner plate is a bit of a chose and it's easy to damage the rubber gasket, so be careful - must be done though because it traps rice water steam which will grow bacteria(3) the user interface is not great and instructions are written in microscopic font. wish they'd spend some time making the instructions clearer, simpler and larger font.on the whole though I really like this as we cook enormous quantities of rice for 2 active people and a hungry dog every week!

Great Affordable Starter Rice Cooker
I bought CUCKOO Rice Cooker when it was on sale and it was worth every penny. I do also own a more expensive model (with more bells and whistles), but when I moved states for a short term stay (6 months) I bought the cheaper version and was impressed by the value. For the price, this rice cooker delivers great results. The quick cook function is a huge plus, cooking rice in under 10 minutes. I have played around with the other settings and I get rice of the perfect texture nearly every time. The built-in measuring cup system, makes it super easy to gage the correct amount of water-to-rice as well.I liked how lightweight it is compared to the other models, that were extremely heavy. On the downside, I have to hold the lid when opening since it will swing open and topple over (learned that the hard way).I also appreciate how easy it is to clean, between the non-stick pot and the fact its dishwasher safe. The only negative, is that I felt the fuzzy logic system on this model isn’t as advanced as the higher-end CUCKOO models, so it may not offer as much precision or extra features. For the price, it’s a great option for anyone looking for a reliable rice cooker without breaking the bank.

GREAT RICE COOKER!
Great rice cooker! First of all is so cute! Makes wonderful rice every time. It’s quiet and never makes a mess and super easy to clean up.I am really not a gadget person and usually cooked my rice on the stove but every time I was cleaning my stovetop from overflow of liquid or having to soak my pan because the rice cooked unevenly and struck to the bottom of the pan.I don’t have any of these problems anymore!!

Great texture
Satisfied with this rice cooker. It cooks rice perfectly! I don’t think it makes it any quicker than a saucepan would, but the texture is perfect so I can’t complain

Easy to use
Update: after a few uses , I’ve decided to return it.The inability to read the water lines ( black on black) bugs me . I’m only cooking for myself and it’s hard to see the marks for one or two cups . I did order another model with the same brand . However the water line marks are in white.. Pretty easy to use . White rice came out as advertised. It’s a bit hard to see the water line if you are making one or two cups . Over all good maker
