I bought the XFasten Self Fusing Silicone Tape for an emergency repair on a well pipe, and I’m absolutely impressed with how well it worked. THIS IS SOOOOOO FANTASTIC!!!! I tried other options to stop my cold water pipe leak, but nothing worked......then I saw this & ordered. IT is AWESOME!! IT's also very easy to use. All you do is wrap & stretch this around the pipe that is leaking. It sticks to itself........turn your water back on, AND jump w/joy that the leak is fixed!!!! :>) I used this on a line that is pressurized! It also comes is several colors, if color matters to you.

I bought a polar dive cold plunge set up with chiller. I keep the water at 36 degrees and usually add ten pounds of ice before a dip. The polar dive is cheap chinese junk. Leaks like a seive. Connections are all plastic junk. Just cheap as dirt. Every connection on this hot garbage leaked. Great customer service though. They'll send you another leaky POS if you complain. But it's another cheap leaky Chinese plastic junk.This saved the plunge. Absolutely fantastic. Ultimately still had to replace the polar dive garbage with a cheap tub off amazon, ironically the tub off amazon that cost 1/4 of the price as this "name brand" hunk of sheet didnt leak one bit. But this stuff was able to seal all of the plumbing connections from the tub to the chiller unit. Made them dry as a bone, even when they were leaking so much half the tub was drained within a week. Stopped those leaks dead in their tracks. The polar dive tub still found other areas to leak from that this product wasn't intended to be used on. But fixed the cheap chines made plastic connectors perfectly. Highly recommend.

First time trying this for a drainage pipe leak. I am hopeful that it works and saves me from spending way more on more extensive plumbing work. Jury still out.

Silicon tape is great, seals good and sticks to itself great.

Sounded great but it didn't work for me. I tried it on two different hoses in need of repair - both had relatively small holes/tears. It leaked on both (and I tried repeatedly on both) - it wasn't able to stand up to the water pressure. It's also thick(ish), so it was problematic for a sink sprayer hose because it interfered with the hose's ability to pass through the hole where it lives before it is pulled out. I was disappointed and ended up replacing both hoses. Maybe it's me, as others reported good results - but - that wasn't my experience.

It works as described. Just be aware it is not like regular tape. It only sticks to itself

I bought this product to protect my sump pump basin and electrical connections. I first sealed my connections with waterproof heat shrink solder connections and then wrapped them with this silicon tape after for added protection.The tape was easy to work with and stretched just like electrical tape, which helped to make that seal even tighter. It is very durable and sticky. I definitely recommend this product if you need extra waterproof protection.
