Ich habe die Box für Festival gekauft, und bin absolut begeistert. 1 Tag vor Festival hab ich mehre kühlakkus zum vorkühlen rein gelegt. Bin am Donnerstag Mittag losgefahren. Hab über das Bier 3 Packung Crasheis drauf gelegt. Hab die Box auf der Rücksitzbank gelassen, vom Auto. Bei 30 *C außen Temperaturen, hatte ich bis Sonntag früh. Richtig kaltes Bier. Da locke 40*C im Auto warten, ist die Box richtig geil. Es hat auch nichts aus gemacht warmes Bier nach zu legen. Also wer viel auf Festival geht, genau richtig.

Bei einem 35+°C Festival hats uns fast täglich das Eis (gemischt Crushed und brotdosengroße Eisblöcke) verdampft, obwohl die Kühlbox im Sunblocker Zelt stand. Die 2 anderen Kühlboxen waren aber sogar noch schlechter dran. Die Verarbeitung macht aber einen echt guten Eindruck, man merkt sofort den Qualitätsunterschied bei den Verschlüssen und der Wandstärke. Geht leider naturgemäß etwas ins Gewicht, aber die Griffe sind stabil. Durchzugsösen für Spanngurte wären eine echt sinnvolle Verbesserung. Passt wirklich viel rein und der Wasserablass funktioniert auch gut, dur die Sache mit dem optionalen Schlauch kapier ich nicht, bevor der aufgeschraubt ist, ist das Wasser weg. Da müsste man schon vorher nen Kugelhahn dran schrauben. Fazit: Besser als Billigware, gegen extremes Wetter ist aber auch dieses Kraut nicht gewachsen.

This cooler does not hold ice. The very next day all of my food was in water. Very disappointed with the performance of this cooler. It is supposed to be comparable to a YETI and it definitely isn’t the same.

Did a bit of research comparing to Yeti coolers. Lifetime Performance cooler performs just as well as Yeti. On a recent camping trip, the ice block lasted 4 days. Can’t say how bear proof the cooler is, but by the amount of raccoon footprints found all over the cooler, it’s definitely critter proof! I would recommend this cooler if you want a Yeti-style cooler at half the price.
