Empress Effects Echosystem Delay Effect Pedal

I have a pretty big problem with second guessing my expensive pedal purchases and wondering if I made the right choice. This is one of the first pedals that I have gotten (I have gotten many) where I had no regrets and felt nothing but satisfaction with my decision.The sound quality is great, it is super versatile, and mine is well-built with sturdy knobs. I didn't know if it would make sense to get an Echosystem even though I have a Zoia already, but I am so happy to have both.

This pedal is great. There are just infinite possibilities of sounds to explore and quality is just amazing.

FAULTY UNIT. CHEAPLY MADE AND FLIMSY.

Excellent price point excellent pedal

When I got mine the none of the knobs would move freely. I had to find a small Allen wrench to loosen the set screw and tighten the nuts on the pots with a 12mm wrench. They were all loose and the knobs were binding. All the pots have plastic shafts so if you kick this around the knobs will break off. I use it as a table top but I wouldn't use this as a stomp box as you'll kick the nobs off. great sound though. just crappy build. I didn't look in side but I can't imagine there's more then $50 in parts, at least make it indestructible.

Lots of interesting sounds from quality standard delays to indescribable transformations.

Chose this guy after A/B’ing the Timeline. Being able to output to my stereo rig with a different delay out of each amp is great. This is the only delay pedal you need (unless you get a real tape delay, looking at you T-Rex. And the Binson isn’t a pedal).The only negative I can see is that ones indicators are simply the colors of the led as opposed to a text readout.
