It's fun & addictive. My kids love this!

Great kit for kids to learn about circuits. Wouldn't recommend for younger kids though as its quite tricky to put together and the end of the wire you have to cut is sharp when you cut it. But it's great for older kids.

My 10yr old nephew and I put this together in about 10 mins for his school science/electronics project (I do have a physics degree btw, so I know my way around circuits, but this one really isn't that complicated). He was able to understand the basic concepts of the electronic circuit from this (took a lot longer than 10mins for me to explain this to him though lol). He was very excited by this and proud of himself for understanding - it was a very thrilling moment when we put the batteries in and heard the buzzer sound for the first time! lol He aced his science project and spent ages and ages with his brothers and sister playing with this thing too! :) The product itself is a bit flimsy, but its an educational tool and its not designed to be super robust and last forever. It does what it advertises. Did have one complaint: the instructions weren't that great. Basic boring black and white diagrams. It would have been great if there had been a brightly coloured and kid-friendly booklet or pamphlet inside to explain the circuitry and give much clearer instructions on how to assemble it. It's for this reason that I'm taking a star away from this. With better kid-friendly information inside, it would be a 5/5.

This was a great kit that my 9 year old loved putting together, and trying it out afterwards. He did need help but it was simple enough for him to get involved, and to understand the principles behind it. Also useful to go towards his Scientist Cub badge so a double win!
