I was nervous about this product, because last time I bought a mug warmer from Amazon, it sucked. It took FOREVER to heat up and it wouldn't get warm enough no matter how long it sat. Who wants to drink luke warm coffee? Not me. This one is awesome because it comes with a cup and the way it turns on is cool. You can leave it plugged in (unlike the last one I bought) and it only turns on when something heavy enough is placed on it. You'll know when it's on because the little circle will light-up blue. I'm pretty sure the cup is made of ceramic...? But it's super cute, feels good to hold, and comes with a lid. I love getting new coffee mugs! But don't be fooled, the lid to this doesn't fit tightly at all. The cup is, however, very sturdy, though I wish ot held more coffee, as filled up to the rim is just about 12oz total. I'd prefer room for 13.5oz, but I'll survive. I'm really clumsy, and I managed to drop the cup pretty hard, from a height of 6 - 12 inches, before I even used it. Maybe from more inches than that. I expected it to crack or chip or something, but it was totally fine!! Anyway, overall, I'm very pleased with this buy. I'm glad I gave another mug warmer a shot. It sure as hell beats microwaving all morning when you've forgotten about your drink--you can just leave your drink on the warmer :) P.S. The mug warmer I bought before was the Mr. Coffee brand, and I was very disappointed in it.

I like this unit and I use it everyday. It keeps my coffee hot the way I like it. The only thing that I have to get used to is that the cup is small. But I would recommend this unit.

We bought 2 of these at separate times. One failed after a few months and once I was able to contact the company on the 1 year warrenty they came through big time. Recieved replacement in less than a week and only had to send pics if failed unit. We enjoy that you can select temp to maintain beverage and auto shut off. Great gift for anyone.

My daughter is taking chemo and cannot drink cold beverages after treatment. I bought this to keep her beverages just right and she was so pleased, right down to the darling cup in sunny yellow with a lid to keep it especially clean, so important at a time like this. Thank you for providing such a thoughtful product. This would be a perfect gift for so many occasions such as that "study box" for exam week along with some special cookies and hot chocolate packets!

Not sure why this has high reviews. 1-Comes with a cheap mug with cover, who would use this ever day instead of their own mugs? (Pictured) 2-Box has unclear description and spelling errors (“auto shut off warner”). Very cheap looking. (Pictured) 3-Also this is not to be used for warming candles like other universal warmers, it cracked my glass Yankee Candle on the 149 degree setting. (Pictured) Not worth the price, it’s not something I would even regift. Would have gave this 0 stars.

I like the look and design of this cup warmer - the white is sleek looking and it's all flat so I can put big cups on it. It also warms up my drink perfectly. However, the pressure switch that turns the warmer on and off is problematic. I've had to put little pieces of paper under the corners ever since I got it so that it turns on when I put a cup on it. Plus, if I use a bigger cup (which means it's heavier) I have to mess around with it a bit so it turns on when the cup is sitting on it. This hasn't been too big of a deal until today when I can't get it to turn on at all - and I've only had it a month. Occasionally the blue power light will turn on if I hold it my hand and press the pressure button underneath just right - but, of course, this doesn't help warm my coffee... I'll give it a couple stars for the look and design but its not any use if it doesn't turn on.

I really like this set but you do need to know what you're getting. You cannot store the mug on top of the warmer without it turning on the heat, which you obviously would not want when it's empty. The little click sound/feel when you put the mug on makes it easy to tell it's working, and is oddly satisfying. Kind of like popping bubble wrap haha. There is also the light. The mug is cute and has a nice lid/teabag rest. You CANNOT MICROWAVE THE MUG because it has a metal bottom in order to conduct heat. Because of this I also never put the mug down directly on my desk/table until it's cooled off. It can sit on the lid if there's not a teabag or anything. It does have a narrowed opening with a bit of a lip on it, so my aeropress won't work with it but I just keep a mug in the kitchen for that purpose and then dump the coffee into the warmer mug.

I had an old mug warmer but wound up with an oversized mug because I apparently need to drink a gallon of coffee. This mug warmer is PERFECT because it will fit any size cup. It's sleek, looks fantastic, does a great job keeping my beverages warm, and so far seems to be great overall quality! I like that all you have to do to turn it on is set your mug down and it automatically engages. My only wish, and this is something I haven't seen yet in ANY mug warmer so is by no fault of this particular one, would be to have the ability to select the temperature. I typically like my drink slightly cooler than this thing will heat it up to, and it's much more noticeable once you work your way closer to the bottom of your drink. With coffee that has creamer in it, if you leave it too long you'll get a nice layer of "skin" on the top. BUT, this is definitely the best mug warmer I've had so I give it a 5/5!
