This product kept our kitty going for several years.
Short version: This product worked for us. Your results may vary, so pay close attention to your cat while using these drops. Long version below: Our older cat Tigger has hyperthyroidism. First noted in October, 2016. Last September, he gradually stopped eating - he was hungry, and *interested* at meal times and would put his face into the food bowl, but wouldn't / couldn't eat. He would eat some of our human food, but pretty much none of the cat food. We thought at first that he might be having trouble with his teeth, and tried other (softer) foods, but they were no real help.Got him a dental appointment, but ... he lost a bunch of weight over a few days and still wasn't eating, so we took him to the vet. Diagnosis: hyperthyroid. Vet advised he was too weak for dental work (or much of *anything*) so we needed to try to get him eating. Vet said that a thyroidectomy (partial removal) was the treatment of choice for a long time, but now no one (no surgeons or clinics) is doing that procedure. Everyone has gone to a radioactive iodine treatment - basically, they inject the radioactive iodine in a carefully calculated amount, it settles in the thyroid where the radiation destroys some of the organ. You have to sequester your cat for weeks and store their poop for 90 days to let the radiation fade. Costs about $1500. Yikes, both for the cost and the ordeal. But before we (might) subject Tigger to any such stress, we needed to get his health back, so.... Vet gave us little pink pills that can help with the thyroid issue, but we should watch for side effects like strong facial itching and destructive scratching. Sure enough, the meds *worked* and Tigger started eating better, especially Science Diet...but after a couple of weeks he started scratching his face and getting a heavy, waxy build-up in his ears. We got him some steroids to help heal the damage he was doing to himself, but we just couldn't keep him on the pills. I had been researching alternatives to the surgery or the radiation treatment, and came across reviews of this product. Actual user reviews indicated that it works *sometimes* -- no surprise there, everyone's situation is different, and what works for one might not work for another...so I ordered a bottle to try it with Tigger. At the beginning of November, I started off giving him a drop for each two pounds of his weight, so four drops (he was a bit under 8 pounds). The effects were pretty much immediate: he started going after his regular food with gusto. Through experimentation, I discovered that he doesn't like the taste of the drops *full strength* - if I just drip in onto his food, then he'll reject the food after eating a part where the drops were. What I have been doing *with great success* is making a "gravy" by adding warm water to the residue in the bottom of a can of food, and stirring the drops into that, then I add that to his food...so he ends up with his salmon pate swimming in gravy or broth that has the drops mixed in. It has been working, at least as far as keeping him able to eat, in good spirits and gaining back some of his weight. HOWEVER - the vet warned us that one of the effects of hyperthyroidism is a ravenous appetite, and that seems to be where Tigger is going. He has been wanting breakfast, second breakfast (30 minutes later), elevenses, brunch, lunch, second lunch, dinner, second / third / fourth dinner (whatever he can talk us into). And he isn't gaining back all his weight....there still isn't as much cat there as there used to be. It is now June of 2017, and he's been getting the drops since last November. We will take him back to the vet to get his blood numbers checked again soon, and hopefully he'll be stable. Update: in October of 2019, we finally lost our Tigger. He was in pretty bad shape in October of 2016, and I credit these drops with keeping him going for three years. He was having a pretty good time until the last few weeks, so I call that a success story. We miss him still (now August, 2020). These drops must be pretty good stuff.

This stuff actually helps!
(Update 12/28/2017) Harry has been on this stuff for 5 months now. He is doing very well. No more mood swings, he's not drinking water nearly as much, his routine has become normal again. He's also gained weight back and looks so much better. He clearly feels much better too. He's even socializing with people when we have company. I am very glad I tried this stuff, it certainly turned out so well for Harry. It might not work for all cats, maybe because their thyroid is too far gone. But it's certainly worth a shot. I'm very, very glad I gave it a try, My 17 year old cat was dropping weight rapidly and he was just a mess. Attacking the dog for no reason, etc. Rather than use medication I did not trust, I tried this stuff. I introduced it slowly and he's nearly up to a full daily dose now. No more random attacks on the dog, no more mood swings. he drinks less, he's gaining weight and not peeing all the time. His fur looks much better too. I have to say this has made a huge difference for him in the short time I've been using it. Really glad I bought it! I'd miss my Harry, he was born in this house. It's the only home he's ever had.

Helped my cats wellbeing!
I wanted to give this product 5 stars, because the company is wonderful and the customer service is great. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because even though it helped improve the wellbeing of my cat a lot, unfortunately it did not help bring his thyroid levels down. Our 10 year old cat Oscar was diagnosed with Hyperthyroid and Kidney disease October/22. Both advances stages. This was very upsetting news. He gets regular yearly Vet checkups and his blood tests have all been good. The Vet put him on liquid Apelka ( Methimazole) 5 mg /day for his thyroid, and renal food for his CKD. After 5 days on this medicine he starts to scratch himself all over nonstop and vomited several times a day. He was loosing weight fast as he could not keep any food down. He then stopped all eating and drinking. We were so worried about him and thought he would die, so we rushed him back to the Vet. The Vet declared that he was too sick to live and wanted to put him down there and then. His blood work showed he was doing very poorly. Turns out he was allergic to the thyroid meds Apelka. Putting him down was out of the question. We wanted a second opinion from another Vet. Back at home I began researching everything I could on hyperthyroid in cats and found this product. Since we live in Sweden it was not possible to order this directly to us. Luckily I have family in the US who shipped the Thyroid Gold to us with express mail. We started slowly introducing the drops into his food. He had no problem with the bacon taste and seemed to like it. This was in November/22. We increased the drops to 4 morning and 4 night in his meals- full dose. Something amazing happened at day 5 of giving him the drops. Oscar started to perk up. His eyes were alert and bright and his mood had improved a lot, and he had less anxiety. He was not howling for food in the middle of the night anymore. ( before the thyroid gold drops we had to feed him several times a night). He seemed much calmer. The drops definitely seemed to worked wonders on his wellbeing. 2 weeks after initiation of the drops he was now eating really well and became playful, social and started purring again. He showed significant improvements in his wellbeing. His fur looked better too. We found a new Vet at a great clinic who really wanted to save Oscar and help us. Blood work on his thyroid levels were done again and it was still high at 179. We had now given him thyroid Gold for 4 months morning and night-full dose, but the numbers had not come down at all. He ate a lot, but was still very skinny. The Vet explained that at this point our only option if we want to save his life, was to treat his hyperthyroid with the Radio Iodine Treatment. We agreed to do this and he will receive the treatment in April/23. The Thyroid Gold helped our cat's overall wellbeing drastically. I highly recommend these drops. Maybe if we had started treating him in an earlier stage of his hyperthyroid disease, we could have managed the illness with this herbal remedy. For anyone who has a cat with early hyperthyroid, I would recommend to give these drops a try. Anyway,Oscar is a happier cat now and is behaving like his old self. We look forward to his full recovery. Thanks so much for making this wonderful product! Ps, Have also written a review about his excellent results from Pet Wellbeing- Kidney Support Gold.

give it time and try not to run out
I tell you what, my little 15 yr old calico was sick. She had a lump on her thyroid , was eating so much I couldn't keep food in the house. And she was running everywhere. She couldn't sleep and I was so worried that this was it. I bought this product 5 months ago and she is doing great. She still eats more that the other cats but not even close to what she was eating before. She actually sleeps during the day. She hasn't don't that for a very long time. And the lump is gone. It's a great product, be patient because it takes alittle time to help. but I would recommend this product for pet owners that have thyroid worries for their furbabbies. Update, I am not sure if this has the same ingredients. It's not helping her. It worked for a year. I bought a new bottle and it doesn't seem to be doing what it did before

5 Star to 1 Star - Product Change
Update 6/13/20: Product change is making me question the ethics of this company. The old packaging included a glass bottle and the consistency of the product was dark and viscous. The new product is in a plastic bottle and appears to be watered down. My cat went back to vomiting again as soon as I gave him the new product. I called the company and the rep explained to me that because this is a natural product, the color, smell, viscosity, etc can change. He also said that they test the product to make sure the chemical constituents are consistent. I make my own alcohol tinctures and glycerites for personal use but don’t feel I have the knowledge (or testing equipment) to make an appropriate formula for an animal. However, I know enough to know the viscosity shouldn’t change unless the glycerine to water ratio has changed (which should absolutely stay consistent for more uniform extraction results). The color is pale, a clear lighter than honey color, where before it looked more like molasses. This makes me believe they watered down the herbal glycerine AFTER extraction, which would greatly reduce the effectiveness of the product. Why would that be necessary unless they were trying to save money after the tincture had already begun processing (which takes about 6 weeks)? I asked if they had other complaints like this and the phone rep said no. I told him that my cat had started vomiting like he did before going on the formula, and he said, ‘Ooh, this is actually very common when an animal has been on the product for a while. The dosage given is the minimum dosage and you should double it and see if that works.‘ I thought that was a very convenient lie to cover up the change of their product—that my cat’s body was what had changed—but I doubled the dosage and then tripled it a few days later when that wasn’t working. Funny how my cat had ‘become used to’ the product between the last bottle and the new one, so much so that we had gone from 3 drops to 10 in just a few short days. Even at 10 drops, he’s still throwing up every other day or two but I’m afraid to increase the dosage further because some of the ingredients are questionable for long term use in larger amounts. Note that the company has not adjusted the dosage recommendations on its bottle and says I should give my cat 1 drop for every 2 pounds (he weighs 6). So now I have no idea what the true dosage should be with the new formula. I believe if Pet Wellbeing really needed to thin down their product, reducing the efficacy, they should have updated the dosage label. Note that the ingredients label has also not been changed. I also believe therapeutic tinctures/glycerites should never be placed in plastic bottles, which have the ability to leach all sorts of particles (many of which we haven’t yet discovered) into the medicine. I know this is a lengthy review but I am disappointed beyond words. I started out believing in this product, which used to come in a glass bottle and used to be effective. Way to put your profits over the health of the animals you profess to be dedicated to, Pet Wellbeing. I will be trying Primalix ThyroPaws, and hope their standards are better than yours. Original post December 2019: As my cats have started aging, I moved their diet away from canned and packaged foods to all whole foods with the help of vet. This has made a huge impact on the health of all three cats, but one was still struggling with a hyperthyroid condition and was vomiting up bile almost daily. I'm so grateful to have found this product. Adding 3-4 drops of this to a treat twice daily has made all the difference for him. We've been giving him this product for 6 weeks, and he's completely stopped vomiting and exhibiting other thyroid-related issues. Also, we're only half-way through the bottle, so depending on the size of your cat, this could be a 2-3 month supply. It smells a little pungent (like burdock root) so you may have to be creative in how you feed it to your cat. Highly recommend trying this product if your kitty has a thyroid issue.

Cat back to Normal Again.
I have a 17 year old cat. A few years ago, was losing most of his hair and started to have an eye issue. Didn't think he would make it much longer. Wife said that's characteristic of thyroid with cats, so got this. In about a week or so, didn't see as much hair loss, and notice some fine new growth. In about a month notice fine hair growth everywhere, and a better demeanor of the cat. Within a couple months, a full thick coat of hair again, less vision issue, and a more lovable cat. So he's been taking this product, every day, for the past couple years without any issues. Leading a healthy happy life yet at 17.

Highly effective
My cat was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and the vet offered me two solutions to treat him, pharmaceutical drugs which he was honest and said came with side effects or that I could try this product. Best decision ever! He has made incredible progress since I started him on this product, his blood work shows he is back in normal range with his thyroid and the other symptoms that comes from this disease have improved greatly. And most importantly, he loves the taste. I just add it to his wet food and he snores it down. I decided since my other cat was also elderly that I would put her on it too and she is super picky and yet she eats it as well. While it is expensive, all I can say is it's much better for them than the pharmaceuticals and you don't have to shove a pill down their throat, and their health and happiness is what matters.

Disappointed stopped working for my girl
I found this when my cat didn't do well with the meds from vet, first GLASs bottle I ordered (from company direct)was a muddy dark brown, within 2 weeks, her fur was back to normal, she was gaining weight and no more night howls...I ordered a 2nd bottle from Amazon ,this bottle was glass and golden color , within 2 weeks, fur clumping, weight loss , and night howls..when I called the company they advised common due to when ingredients are harvested can vary in color and offered me a coupon to order from their site direct maybe I would get a different batch...ordered from site direct..again came via Amazon..now in a plastic bottle and still a golden color...my girl did so good on this and was happy for the natural support..I'm now 86.00 in on remedies and not working anymore..IDK if the harvest has anything to do with it, I've seen others comment on color and smell being dark.. so disappointed ..you can try it to see if it works for your pet..but now I'm on the search for an alternative I really do not want to have to do the radiation on a 15 yr old cat...one bottle was amazing .I hope you have better luck than we did ...

Don't know what's in it ... but IT WORKS !
My 18 year old Himalayan/Persian boy was diagnosed with Hyperthroidism. Had lost a kilo in weight, had awfully oily fur down his back and tail area, bony feeling around his back legs and back. Literally ravenous eating, and heavy urinating. The "nuclear" pills the vet gave him almost killed him. Tried, the special foods, and biscuits, joint medicines & oils, oral sprays ( that just made him cough, and wheeze) ... Nothing was working. Then I came across this one night scouring the internet for something to help. Took almost a month to arrive, BUT it really works ! I got a little syringe, and I started giving him a direct dose everyday (dosage depends on their weight). 1 month later- Mixed with a daily dose of Metacam for cats (for arthritis support) which he licks off my finger like its a treat (has a honey/sweetness), and once a week a syringe shot of 4Cyte joint support, he has bounced back something incredible ! He is running, climbing his house, his fur is soft and fluffly again, he eats normally, less urinating. Like a new cat. Would HIGHLY recommend this product.

So far, so good.
My 13 year old cat was losing weight and had little to no energy. Her sleeps were restless. I started giving her 6 drops, twice a day and gave her 4 to 5 small meals a day. She's gained a little weight back, and maintaining it. She's also sleeping better and isn't having aggressive moments as often. She has more energy and went back to playing with her toys. It's pricey but it does work, just takes a couple of weeks to really see results. Edit:// I've been using it for a couple of months now. My cats weight is maintaining. She meows less, eats better and sleeps better now. It's not a cure and it most severe cases it Won't do much. But if you give it to your cat early enough it will make their life and yours a little easier. Just don't expect miracles. My girl has now been on this for 2 years. At a recent vet visit her thyroid levels are in the norm and this is because of this product. It has definitely worked for my old girl. Im a believer.

Also klare Kaufempfehlung
