Fender Player Mustang Faded Mocha FSR (CME Exclusive)

This is a pretty high quality instrument wearing the Fender name and made in Mexico by people who knew what they were doing.The fit and finish are perfect, it didn't require anything more than stretching the strings and tuning up.I really don't see how you can go wrong with an alder body and a maple neck/fret board.My collection includes Teles from the Indonesian Cort Factory and from S. Korea, as well as an American Professional, so I've got other Fender branded instruments to compare it with.At $499 it didn't come up short.I've got to say a word about the vendor, Chicago Music Exchange. I called that 1-800 number to speak to an employee about the packaging as I had paid the extra $20 for overnite shipping.He assured me that they'd pack it tight inside an outer box and they sure did!I'm glad to add it to my collection.

Awesome guitar for the money. The fit and finish on the guitar I received is perfect. The wood grain is beautiful. I was worried that I would receive an open-box or display model, but the guitar I was sent was clearly new and unplayed. The box was opened, as it should be, for inspection and setup by the seller. The shipment was prompt. The playability and sound is wonderful.

It's a great guitar, but not really much smaller than a standard guitar, for a so called "short-scale" guitar. I was looking for something smaller and it's a little lighter than my strat's. I was hoping for much lighter. But I've fell in love with it. It has its own unique sound, easy to play and it's a quality build right out of the box!

Quality and features that will make a seasoned guitar player happy. Simplicity that is perfect for the beginner. Limited to 100 pieces so you will have bragging rights there. I might change the bridge pickup to get more growl out of it. Other than that it's perfect.

I was looking at Squire classic vibe models when I came across this guitar. I paid $406.00 because of superficial imperfection. Other than wobbly loose knobs, which easily corrected I found no imperfections. There was no need for a setup of any kind.

honestly, getting a guitar online is such a toss up unless you've played this particular model at a store and decided to buy it elsewhere.the guitar came very well set up and well packaged. please consider research, getting a good guitar like this for me takes weeks if not months of research if you arent going to a store.

Im very happy with this purchase. Right out of the box this thing felt great!

A very good guitar, plays well, sounds great. Only issue was that it had some fret buzz which I easily fixed by adjusting the saddle. Can't expect perfection with a price this low, but once I fixed it, the play and sound were excellent.
