Yesssss!!! Get it!!
The media could not be loaded. My Rosie is a blue heeler/mini Aussie mix (we dna tested her). She’s spoiled so of course she had to have this! Now this is how she eats her food. I only fill it with her dog food. She loves it. She’s very active so this keeps her busy. And if it’s empty she will all but jump on the button then come look at me. Was easy to set up. I taught her by keeping on pushing the button base towards her til any part touched the button. Then yelled Yes which is our cue word when she gets something right. I had already taught her in a similar fashion to push a door bell to ask to go outside to potty. I gotta say the batteries in the base button has held up well. 2 months of using it most of the day, daily. I did take it with us one day so I plugged the dispenser into a battery pack and that worked just fine too. It plugs into usb. Easy.

Best purchase for a high energy dog!
We have a lab and I’m so glad I purchased this! Our lab is three years old and we were expecting our first child so I wanted to get something that would help him release energy on days where we might be too busy to exercise him. Training him to use the button was easy, we got it on the first attempt. Now we put the button on one end of the house and the dispenser at the other and he runs back and forth, entertained and exercised! We put his dinner serving of his dry dog food in the dispenser and make the hole small enough that it dispenses about 4-5 pieces at a time, keeping him quite busy. We even set up a little bit of an obstacle course so he has to do some jumping. This is one of the best pet toys/accessories I’ve ever purchased!

Quit working, company replaced
Our Golden figured it out really quickly. We used it 3-4 times a week for almost 5 months and she was ready to play as soon as she saw us get it out. It was her favorite activity, until it quit working. I put new batteries in it and nothing. I plugged it in...nothing. Instructions aren't comprehensive on how to use the charge cord. Is it supposed to work with it plugged in, or is there a hidden battery that gets charged? Regardless, nothing is working now. Occasionally the red light flickers when I turn it on, but, nothing. A week ago, I would have given it 5 stars. Now it's lucky to get 2 and that's only because it worked so well, when it did work.I have revised my rating to 4 stars. The company replaced the broken item with a new one. Granted the red light doesn't do more than flicker, but the dispenser is working. I've waited several months to revise my review to make sure it lasts. It hasn't been 6 months yet, but we use it at least 4 times a week and our golden still loves it.

Great IF it works
UPDATE: since it was working as pleased I didn’t use it for a while. I was frustrated now it doesn’t even wants to shut on. Switched batteries, tried electric plug in but the machine won’t go on!I was initially excited to acquire the PetGeek as a professional dog trainer. I intended to use it for enrichment purposes for my clients' dogs as well as my own, serving as training rewards that don't solely come from me. However, I encountered several issues with the device. Firstly, it often malfunctions, either dispensing no treats or too many at once, which can discourage the dog from continuing to engage with it. Additionally, the absence of a remote control poses a challenge, especially when shaping specific behaviors. Without the option to manually trigger treat release, it's difficult to teach the dog to interact with the machine. Furthermore, the inability to disable the tone can be problematic for noise-sensitive dogs or when the desired behavior hasn't been established yet. Overall, while the concept is promising, the PetGeek falls short due to these issues frustrating the learner, in my opinion.

Best toy ever!
Our dog & two cats love this gadget! We found freeze dried salmon treats to use for cats & dogs. They love to wait for one to trigger the toy, then they all three race to get the treat. One cat has learned to simply sit by the dispenser & wait for her compadre to trigger the treat release! We've used it outside & watched these three race back & forth for treats. We have to limit use, or they would eat way too many treats. 100% recommend.

Great way to entertain a puppy on cold and rainy days!
The media could not be loaded. This is an amazing solution for the cold and rainy days! Our puppy is about 4 months old and after a bit of training to push the button, she was able to grasp the game.Pros: Keeps the puppy entertained. A full meal took about 20 minutes of running back and forth. The button accessories are helpful and the tiny scoop is nice. The dispenser is pretty durable, holding up to inquisitive pawing. We have a long, single story home and can put the button about 50 feet from the dispenser without problems.Cons: While nothing is a deal breaker for us, the lid is confusing to put on the dispenser and the little tray pops off frequently with enthusiastic eating. The button will also need to be pressed twice periodically, not when she misses, but when she pushes too hard on it.All in all, a good find!

Ball Broke After 1 Month
⭐️⭐️☆☆☆I really wanted to love the PETGEEK Automatic Dog Treat Dispenser with Button, and at first, I did. I had one for each of my dogs and they were obsessed with it and figured it out so fast—it was so much fun to watch! But then the ball broke in less than a month in BOTH of the dispensers that I purchased, and now the whole thing is basically useless. Super frustrating because my dog loved it, and I had high hopes. I can’t use it without the ball, so I’m giving it 2 stars. Great idea, but the durability needs serious improvement.

Amazing enrichment for the dog
This treat/food dispenser is a great option for high energy dogs. I usually use it in the winter when we can't play outside as much. It only took a day or two to train my heeler mix how to use it. My dog slams the button hard but it has held up so far! The batteries have lasted well and the button has good noise and connectivity. My only complaint is that the options to hold down the button (suction cup and stake) don't really work if you have an overly enthusiastic dog.
