Kyutaro goes in after her, but will he be able to save her before she gets devoured by otherworldly creatures? Review: Another great story by Kyousuke Motomi! - I just love Kyousuke Motomi's manga. After being an enthusiastic reader of Beast Master and Dengeki Daisy for years, I was already sure that I would buy QQ Sweeper. I pre-ordered it even months before it came out, just because I was so excited to read one of my favorite manga artist's new creation. What I love about this story (and all of her other stories) is the unique sense of humor and the unusual type of shoujo depicted in it. I've read a lot of shoujo manga, I probably watched even more shoujo anime in my early teens (and still do), but never did I find any similar stories like Ms.Motomi's. The story creates a lot of positive tension, as well as unanswered questions to keep the reader curious about how the characters will continue their journey. QQ Sweeper isn't the typical shoujo as mentioned earlier, but rather an interesting mix of humor, romance and supernatural content. Kyutaro is the male protagonist in this story and a cleaning expert (Something quite unexpected for a shoujo manga, unless you've read Dengeki Daisy). Although he is a cleaning expert, he actually cleans away negative energy from people's hearts. On the other hand we have the female protagonist Fumi, a poor girl (Doesn't that sound familiar? Hint: Dengeki Daisy) who desperately wants to marry a rich guy. Marrying a rich guy is the "catchphrase" in this manga, like "Go bald!" in Dengeki Daisy. One day Fumi decides to go into an old building that barely anyone dares to enter, and she encounters some evil creatures that are trying to attack her. Kyutaro goes after her, and the rest would just be a spoiler. This was just a general summary of what will happen, so the best way to find out more about this story is to buy the manga.
