KBH Center Console Armrest Cover Upholstery for Jeep Grand Cherokee & Dodge Durango 2011-2020, Vinyl Leather Middle Console Replacement Cover, Anti-Scratch, Light Frost Beige

The leather armrest was cracking on my 2015 Durango so decided to give this a shot. Removing and disassembling the armrest was pretty straight forward. I opted to leave the original cover on and put this new cover over the top and staple it in so as to keep the factory feel underneath the new cover. I highly recommend using an air powered staple gun. I tried with an old school manual staple gun and it would not puncture the plastic. I started at the back center and then worked my way down both sides evenly keeping the cover pulled tight. The most difficult part to staple and get to look good was at the front where the latch release goes, you have to cut the new cover in a similar fashion to the original to get the leather to lay flat to be stapled. Reassembly was a tad more difficult when putting the dual latch release back in due to the added thickness of the new cover but it did finally go in. Once all back in the car it looks and feels really good.

My middle console leather was damaged, so I ordered this as a replacement. This fits perfectly and looks exactly like the original.

I was surprised I couldn't easily order a whole new armrest but this cover was the next best thing. It takes some work to remove and install but not bad if you are handy and you have upholstered before. I used a pneumatic staple gun with 1/4" staples and it came out great! I did not add any 1/8" foam like the original cover had but I saw examples where people the same and it looked great.

It takes some work to properly install. I used a pneumatic stapler to install the way the factory did. I don't know how anyone could install this without that tool. Once completed it looks good. The grain is a little different than factory but not very noticeable.

This fit perfectly over the old console. A lot easier that I thought. The hardest part was removing the old one... lots of staples. Quick tip: Don't pull too tight on one side, or the cover won't center. It also comes with instructions saying that you can use a heat gun to shrink the material... While I had my doubts this would work, I did it anyway... and wouldn't ya know it... it doesn't really work. It's not plastic wrap, so don't count on the heat gun shrinking away your mistakes. Would definitely buy again.

This was a really nice touch for the Dodge Durango. Hubby was satisfied.

Be careful to trim it. Didn't line up with notches. No glue included which meant I used my own and ran out halfway through having to stop and get more having it dry and now it isn't fitted properly and pulling off. Aside from the lack of necessary products to assemble the leather is good quality.

Great purchase and still going strong with no problems.
