Samsung Smart Choice 8 kg, 5 star, Eco Bubble Tech, Digital Inverter Motor, Soft Closing Door, Fully-Automatic Top Load Washing Machine (WA80BG4441BGTL, Light Gray)

I'm coming from bosch Top load to this Samsung 8kg washing machine. Previous machine- Bosch Fully Automatic Top load 4 years old - 20k when bought Current machine - Samsung 8kg Ecobubble Fully Automatic Top Load - Bought it for 16.5k with 3k discount from original 19.5k price during Indian Festival Sale during October 2024. We also exchanged our old machine for 2k(local dealers were giving 500-1000 for exchange) Initial impressions: This looks smaller than our previous machine but in our previous machine after filling the water to the heightest setting there would be 6-8inch extra space left. This machine fills to the full drum and to avoid water spill they've given lip like structure on top of the Machine. Our previous machine didn't have weight sensing technology so we can set number of times of wash,rinse and timing of spin. I can select two times wash, rinse and hold, upto 4 times rinse and spin is from 3-15 mins. This current machine doesn't have anything like that. It'll sense the load weight and does everything. Every washing machine I had looked for was similar if I went with more costlier above 25k Top load I get these options from Samsung,lg and Bosch. I wanted to stay in budget so I selected this. We wanted to buy LG but we had bad experience with LG brands so we skipped it. Our previous Bosch quick wash will take 22 mins this take 43 mins for quick wash and normal wash is 55 mins. I'll explore more and update. I've heard that brands like Whirlpool and Panasonic is pushing us to buy a water softener as extra during install but the technician from Samsung didn't tell anything about it and I myself asked about it, he said Samsung doesn't instruct us to do this. I asked him salt water damage covered under warranty or not he said yes it'll cover. Apart from rat damage and Physical damage caused by us or accident everything else is covered. Build quality - This and LG washing is the only higher build quality Top load available under 20k but our previous Machine was much more higher quality. Reason for changing to this - we changed to this because of spare unavailability in our tier 2 city from Bosch and even technicians are not official. Our suspension got damaged we had to change it to an local suspension from that the machine doesn't work well we switched to Samsung with 2 year warrant and thinking about buying extended warranty. In recent years I have good experience with Samsung products hence chose Samsung product. I'll update after long term usage.

Been using the 8Kgs top load model for about two months now. Compact sized body. Silent machine. Washes very well. Sometimes I feel it can rinse a little better. I would definitely recommend.

Item was delivered on time and installation performed by Mr Shovan Mandal of Samsung within the committed 48 hours from delivery. He has explained the operations of the machine. There are no issues on the outside of the machine. It looks good. We will start using it from tomorrow and expect all the functions and quality of wash to be of good quality that is expected from Samsung brand

I bought this washing machine(8kgs) in march and I have used it 5 times in 10 days and went to my hometown for a couple of months and after coming back in may, it worked fine for a couple days but it started making noise and the tub getting stuck and not moving during all the cycles. So I have complained to Samsung service center and they sent a technician the next day and he confirmed that the pub motor is not working properly and needs to be replaced. He said that it will take a week at max as they need to order the part and it needs to be delivered from Noida. I was okay with the timeline. I have waited for a week but no one called or visited. After a week there was a message saying that the part is available now and a technician is assigned for this ticket, but no one showed up. If I call the technician number in the message, he won’t pick up at all and after repeated tries for 2 days, the technician picked the call and said that a wrong part was delivered and they have re ordered the correct part and it will be delivered within 2 days. So I waited but no one called or showed up. So I called the technician again repeatedly for a day but he didn’t pick up. So I called the support again and got the service center number. I called the service center and they say that the part is still not delivered at all and they don’t know when it will be available. It’s been 3 weeks and no support has been provided. The service of Samsung has degraded a lot these days. It has been a nightmare.

Received the washing machine in very good condition with proper handling and appropriate inspection by delivery executives whereas installation was not prompt as mentioned from Samsung side,it was delayed.The machine drum is similar size to the earlier version (old model)Samsung 6 kg hence suitable for smaller families.It works well with less noise level & the cleaning ability is also good so far.Will certainly recommend.

I have been using this washing machine for the past 5 months and have not faced a single issue so far. It works very well and performs efficiently. I truly recommend this product as it is very budget-friendly and offers great value for money.

Not perfect wash machine

Overall OK. It takes an average of 50 minutes for a common four-member load. Even the quick wash setting takes around 40 minutes. The machine requires shirt collars to be pre-cleaned. Additionally, the cloth dryer performance could be better. Thanks for your time.
