My grandson and I have loved putting many Lego sets together. Mostly I've tried to focus on getting the Technic sets because while they are more expensive, the build process will take us several weeks of building (he is normally working on the 2,500 piece style sets a couple of hours at a time, a time or two a week). So though more expensive, there really is more bang for the buck compared to these smaller sets that he's able to put together in an hour or so.But what's different about these is the digital instructions. There is a bit of a story involved as you follow along to assemble the set. There are several options along the way that the builder can choose that will alter the appearance of the device being made. After he completed the build, over the next three days he disassembled and reassembled the set 3 or 4 times. So in spite of the fact that each time he builds, it only takes an hour or so, he enjoys them so much because of the digital instructions, he's enjoying the sets over and over.

My son loves the Lego missions. Not only is he able to build the Lego set, but it also takes him on this adventure while building it. I wish there were more Lego missions.

I’m excited to give this to my Lego loving boy for Christmas! It’s especially nice that it is an interactive set - he really loves those.
