Perfect size for pattern making. I needed something to help make curves for armholes, and this is great, very sturdy, love the shape and straight edge, too. Highly recommend.

Love the larger curve. it is more accurate display for armhole creation. Love the cutouts to make circles and especially like the cutouts for easy marking of seam allowance for both female and male clothing. The 90 degree square corner makes it easy to assure that your are staying in line with the grainline markings and or when aligning cross grain.

I'm super bummed. I've had this ruler in mind for forever, it's practically the only imperial one of its kind that has all the rulers I wanted, combined. $20 is very pricey for a ruler, but after watching it for a long time, I finally decided to go for it, and it arrived damaged. The dents and notches/scratches on this ruler appear to be small, but it defeats it's purpose of drawing nice smooth lines. The ruler did not appear to be used, and was very polished and shiny, so I thought the damage must have occurred either in production or shipping. The black grid makes things a little hard to read on certain fabrics, I would have preferred red, but that is the only other critique I have. If it weren't for the scratches I would give this 5 stars.

I had it for a few weeks and it was very useful until I dropped it by accident and it broke on me. Gonna look for another brand that won’t break so easily.

Thick and solid. Little short for dress lengths but works fine with ruler straight edge.
