Love these brackets. Lightweight but substantial enough to handle most modern panels. Excellent initial finish (black) although I expect that to fade over time; non-issue for my installation. No visible branding. Stainless steel hardware resists corrosion (unlike some others). Supplied screws/bolts worked fine for me but obviously depends on panel specs. Tough to find any negatives; will purchase again.

Keep in mind that I used these to mount three 200W Renogy Panels on a shed roof, not a home roof. I DID NOT use the given hardware to mount to my shed roof but pricey galvanized, rubber washered hardware + silicone. No leaks after a good snowstorm here in Colorado. Great brackets and ordered 12 more for 3 more panels..... Keep in mind I can see the under side of the fasteners on my shed and garage so I KNOW if they leak. Great for my use, very stout. On a house I'd use a real rack system and make sure your insurer is cool with it.

I returned these because I felt the aluminum used to make them was pretty flimsy. When mounting a large solar panel on the roof of my van, the last thing you need is it becoming airborne and hitting another vehicle.

These z brackets are very economical compared to the adjustable angle aluminum brackets. A fraction of the cost.The only problem is, there is no adjustment.I use these on several panels facing east, where adjustments during the year wouldnt help.An expensive mounting bracket might take a year or more, to pay off the extra money, depending on panel size.I do have the more expensive adjustable brackets for easy to reach, south facing panels. Twice a year adjustment can add 10% to your total electric production. Four times a year can add 15%.
