Great product
I was raised on iced tea made with saccharin and it is how I make it today (and I drink a LOT of tea). Saccharin tablets are hard to find but I can always find them here with this seller and for that I am extremely grateful!

No dextrose
Tiny little pills pack a punch of sweetness. No dextrose (that will break a fast), just saccharine. Perfect

Received in correct item
I love using tablets instead of packets. But be careful, the 'picker' at Amazon or where ever the bottle came from shipped me 1/4 grain tablets instead of the 1-grain tablets I ordered and paid for.

Better than you think
One tablet is about the equal of four teaspoons of sugar. I use about 6 tablets with half a cup of real sugar in a gallon of tea. The results is very similar to using sugar. There is a little bitterness but a fair trade off for less sugar. In coffee the bitterness is even less noticeable. It cut my sugar consumption in half.

1 tablet sweetens whole pitcher of ice tea. The quarter grain size is better for a cup.
This is good stuff. Wish they still sold this in supermarkets. But be warned that this "1 grain" version is too strong for a cup of coffee or tea. On bottle, it says that one tablet is equal to the amount of sugar you would put into 4 cups of coffee. I discovered that one tablet works in a kettle of coffee. But when I put it in a cup of coffee, it was so disgustingly sweet that I had to pour it down the sink. So today, I crushed the tablet with the top end of a spoon, and put a little of the powder in the coffee; it worked. Crush on a napkin or on a plate. Conclusion? Get the quarter grain version! Very important. That way you can add one or two tablets depending on your taste. The advantage of this over saccharine packets like Sweet and Low or its imitators is that you don't have to dump a bunch of dextrose in your cup. The disadvantage is that you have to stir, wait a minute or two, and stir again to have it completely diffused—whereas the packets dissolve instantly.

NOT the product that is pictured
I have tried two times in a row to order this item--the "1 grain" saccharin tablets with green label and green cap. I've used this product before and its so easy and convenient just using 1 tablet to sweeten a cup of coffee or a glass of iced tea. Two times in a row, I've received the same product with red label and red cap that is 1/4 grain. That means I have to count out between 4 and 8 tablets to sweeten a beverage. I realize in the grand scheme it sounds silly but just wanted to warn people what they might get. It is NOT the product I ordered or paid for. It was fairly easy to get refunded, but it's a pain. I'd rather just have what I ordered (and what is pictured!!) but I give up. Won't try again...
